We have just returned from a wonderful 4 days staying in one of the Woodland Tipis. The accommodation and facilities are clean, homely and some of the best I have ever seen on a 'campsite'. We were warmly welcomed by Mark and he took the time to check everything was OK on a daily basis. The Tipi was well equipped...

My wife and 3 youngish kids spent 4 absolutely glorious nights at Woodlands. We stayed in one of the yurts and thoroughly loved it. Julia, the owner, has really thought of every detail. So much care and attention has gone into all the little things that made our time there so brilliant. Super clean bathrooms, extremely well stocked kitchen and...

My family and I, along with another family spent 4 nights at Woodland Tipi's and Yurts in August 2016. We had the best family break!!! From the community feel of the communal kitchen and eating area, to the rope swings, ladders and hammocks. From the moment my children opened their eyes in the morning they were exploring, playing, running, climbing...

We stayed for 4 nights in April with our 2 boys (4 year old & 1 year old) and had a fantastic time. The site is perfect to let the little ones run around, play on the swings and toast marshmallows on the fire. Would highly recommend for a short break that's a bit different to get away from it...

We hired three yurts and three teepees for the weekend. We were a large group of nineteen but with the site situated in a large forest we were not cramped at all. Our children ranged from two to ten and there was something for all of the kids to enjoy. It was magical place. The owner have got it spot...

I took my two kids to this beautiful place with a larger group. The facilities are amazing and you have everything you need to allow you children to enjoy nature and freedom in a very safe environment. I actually managed to sit and read a book while my kids were playing with all the other children. Totally amazing time and...

Absolutely incredibly magical time spent with family in a truly authentic Tipi, in surroundings so sensitively and imaginatively created. Unforgettable. The setting has been thought out to the minutest detail.

Just had the most magical time at woodland tipis and Yurts. Such a beautiful place and the Tipi was fantastic, very comfortable and cosy with fresh flowers and plenty of wood to burn. The children loved all the swings and the owners were brilliant. Places to visit and the river wye just nearby. Thank you so much.

“The yurts are a bit bigger if you're sharing with 4 or 5... but both have the same interior and cosy feeling.. Either way you'll be happy! If you want ultimate privacy.. I recommend the foxglove yurt which is right at the back of the site!”
