What a lovely place. Stayed here overnight with my girlfriend and have to say everything was perfect. The room was clean, tidy and very nice. Check in staff and guests were very welcoming and warm. Local pubs had great food as well. Would definitely stay again.

We found this place by accident whilst walking and stopped for lunch. The service was friendly and the food really good. The gardens were very pretty & well kept. We didn't use any of the lodgings but from what we could see, they looked lovely

We stayed for the night on the 19th of March. The lady at reception gave us a free upgrade to a large family room and ensured there was a travel cot ready for our toddler. We had a lovely time at the hotel, exploring the beautiful grounds and the lovely swimming pool. We had booked not knowing anything about the...

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Lodge Number One last night for our One Year Anniversary. I have to say this lodge was perfect!! Down to the decor (we love country/homely decor,) the space and to the little touches you wouldn't normal expect. The swimming facilities were right opposite our lodge which were an added bonus although we didn't get...

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but don't expect "Hilton" service - this is much more friendly and has a family feel. The food (breakfast & evening meals) were really nice, well cooked and great variety - the menu had a limited choice, however if preordered, they would cook special meals as...

This is an old-fashioned lovely hotel. Our lasting impression is how the staff cannot do enough for you. Service is always with a smile.I would return here like a shot if I were in the area again. We were staying with a large number of family, for a birthday celebration. Staff were happy to provide private rooms for us to...

Good home cooked food they are very keen to accommodate young children. Very clean and lots to do pitch and put, table tennis, croquet, tennis and awesome swimming pool. I've been staying here for 20 years and will...

No bar and not really much privacy. Very old fashioned and restricted. Beautiful place but felt quite uncomfortable. We had already paid but went to find somewhere else to stay. Didnt realise it was a religious place.

I reviewed Lindors a little while ago and was hopeful of another enjoyable visit. Sadly it seems to be in decline. Grounds still beautiful and peaceful but the hotel itself needs major investment. The reception staff are friendly although ordering a drink is so awkward and the 'bar' closes at 10.00. Wifi is a joke; a few boosters would make...
