This is the second time I've stayed here and the second time I've been exasperated by the same policy. When I arrived I was told the bar would shut early if it was quiet. So, a friend and I were sat in the bar with around 20 other customers having a nice drink and the barman shouted "time" at 10:20pm....

We feel very very sorry for all the staff at the Bull Inn , they had to run to serve all our meals which took so long , if it hadn't been for how nice they were we would have gone elsewhere. Its about time management allowed more staff instead of cutting cost on wages e t c. People won't...

This is a place that is a million miles from the standard, corporate fare in other chains. Our room was at the top of a (steep) flight of stairs in the original part of the building. The room, although not massive, had all that we needed for our two night stay. Exposed beams and low ceilings gave an immediate olde...

Just wanted a nice lunch out, the pub was taken over by a new Manager some time at the beginning of the year 2017. After booking a table for 1pm the waiter took our order after waiting 3/4 of an hour to get our lunch we just got so fed up with them taking so very long we just paid...

Its a lovely little pub, low ceilings and a lovely oldy worldy feeling to it. Probably lovely for a catch up over drinks, but for an actually meal i wouldn't pick it over others. The food was nice, but it's not amazing value for money, the nachos to share were... a let down just not enough and not enough toppings....

We stayed for a couple of nights in early Feb. The place is full of character, with loads of period features which made it a fun place to stay. We ate both evening meals and breakfasts here and the food was great....Breakfasts were especially good! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially Natalie and Teresa who were so...

Very poor service with little or no staff around in the bar or the restaurant. Food portions were very small for adults, the Lamb Shank had hardly any lamb on it and the vegetables etc that came with it were tiny!

Stayed here for the night, and had dinner and breakfast here. Firstly they bumped us into superior room instead of double because of our young son, gave him more room to crawl around! Dinner was lovely, chicken supreme with a mini chicken and mushroom pie and tomato and basil mash!(never heard of that in my life) was delicious though! Husband...

Hanging about in the reception awaiting to book in without a peep from the staff. Had to go to the bar and find someone. Nice building, cosy, warm clean room. Very pleasant. Went down to eat, good menu ...but 1st choice, not available. Second choice, not available! Asked what they did have, a partial mixed grill, it was 'alright'. TV...

This is a very nice place and is a very old 17th century coaching inn. That the car is excellent with a lot of original woodwork. The food was very very good and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was a superb. The service could've been a little faster for meals. The bedrooms are very comfortable with nice beds and excellent...
