What a friendly, welcoming place! We stayed over at the Waggon & Horses and spent the evening in the pub with friends for dinner and a few drinks. We had a long chat with the new owners who have revived the Waggon & Horses, and having visited the pub previously, I am amazed at the transformation! The pub has a...

Went in the pub for a quick drink, ended up staying for a couple more the girls Jo and Alice were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Stella is the premium larger, its a shame they didn't have it on tap but they had some good alternatives. Will be returning again especially to see Jo and Alice.

Reading previous reviews we were a little worried that there would be problems with our accommodation but all was good the place is under new management and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Waggon and Horses to anyone attending...

Under new management. Me and my friend found this pub/B&B to be very friendly and welcoming. Lovely food and great atmosphere within the pub. We stayed the night in the recently refurbished rooms, which were very well decorated to a high standard. I would highly recommend a visit to the pub/B&B. I will definitely be going back. We had a one night stay at the hotel whilst visiting friends in the area. Staff welcoming on arrival. Accommodation was in an annex to the main pub. Bar was vibrant with large choice of ales. Food was available although we were booked to eat elsewhere. Room basic but very clean, tea/coffee facilities in room, warm, quiet, ensuite shower room...
