We booked a large pitch with power for a week, during the school holidays. Pitch 2 was ours. Plenty big enough for our tent and fairly level. The site has token showers - You do need two tokens per shower! a great little shop and a café set up in the mornings for breakfast. Within walking distance of the Dancing...

We stayed in Toms Field after recommendation - our pitch was flat and just enough space. As a base, it worked well for travelling to Swanage and studland and corfe castle. Shower and toilet facilities are adequate but in need of a deep clean. Despite the site being full, it didn't have the feel of being packed so we were...

It's cheap, because it's not got any of the fancy extras that you don't need on a camping trip. The site was clean and tidy, the staff were pleasant, the shop was well stocked, and the little breakfast cafe was a good touch. The toilet block was fine; and although there were only 3 showers I never had to wait...

I was a bit tentative due to reading previous reviews, however was pleasantly surprised. Last minute we dropped in without a booking and were shown to a choice of pitches. I thought the owners were pleasant enough and left us in peace, we were able to pitch up first before paying. The facilities are rather shabby and dated ( I'm...

Lovely little site. Beautiful views and very relaxed atmosphere. We stayed for 6 nights, 2 adults and 2 children. I'm not sure how the last review paid over £100 for 2 nights when we paid £108 for 6 nights?! I thought it was really good value for money . On the subject of cleanliness of toilets, yes they are a...

While the views to the sea and the coastal path walks are lovely, Tom's field is not a place I'd recommend or would ever return to. The toilets were filthy with dirty floors and dirt on the seat hinges which clearly hadn't been cleaned properly for days. There was one ancient hairdryer in the ladies, old plastic curtains hanging around...

Camp there during Swanage jazz festival as cycle touring. This is probably the worse camp site I have ever had the misfortune to use. Down at heal and flea bitten, the facilities were dirty and well passed their sell by date!! As a touring cyclist I was put in the hikers field, with the fallen tree, the high point to...

We went to toms field after reading good things on their website and reviews. First thoughts that were it was very expensive....2 tents and 6 adults came to over £100 for 2 nights. Then we had to pay extra for tokens for showers and Hair dryer (which was out of order) as there were no sockets to plug in our...
