my partner treated me to a weekend at Stocks and what a gem..hidden away but close enough to enjoy the delights of the area.the brekkie was absolutely delicious, the room very comfy and the view spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts- Lynne & Gordon..The Kangaroos & Rabbits outside our room added to the setting. Definitely another...

Fantastic location, Really nice hosts, very cosy interior, delicious breakfast in the morning, only negative was in the Lucknow suite, not sure if it is same with the others, they push 2 twin beds together rather than 1 double/king. very uncomfortable mattress also. Couldn't understand why for an adult retreat they would do that. For the $250 per night we...

Fantastic ambience, scenery and food. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and five star treatment was received. The warmth and homely atmosphere made it even more pleasant. Would definitely go there again.Hosts Gordon and Lyn made us more than welcome.

On our last weekend of our visit to Western Australia we were so lucky to find Stocks Country Retreat. We were very tied after touring for three weeks and looking for a relaxing stay before our return journey to Queensland. The dinner at night was excellent but the breakfast next morning was even better if that is possible. We haven't...

This was a gem. We had the garden room which had its own private terrace with a view over the garden and pool. Breakfast was delicious and huge with lots of fresh fruit (cut up lovingly by Gordon) and a yummy cooked course which varied daily. We ate breakfast and dinner on the terrace. At nights we had a BBQ...

Lyn and Gordon is running a B&B which is a really fantastic relaxing place and they are very friendly - you just feel like home. The service is great (breakfast and dinner is great), the room we had were having spa. The place is 35 km outside Perth in a quiet place, and you will need a car for transportation...

Set in the beautiful countryside of the Swan valley, this retreat in Brigadoon is wonderful. The hosts Lynn and Gordon made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The retreat only has three suites, ours had a whirlpool bath, four poster bed and a gymnasium. One of the best breakfast's imaginable was served to us each morning on...
