Our large party enjoyed a fun filled couple of nights in the Brecon Beacons while staying at the Dragons Back Bunkhouse, hosted by the very hospitable owner Ahmed and his wife Jill. The spacious bunk house was clean, cosy and warm, and had a good amount of communal space in the bedrooms and in the well equipped kitchen for socialising...

Stayed for two nights over a weekend for a Mountain Biking weekend. Bunkhouse is well equipped, clean, warm and spacious. The attached pub has a great atmosphere, log burner, and great food - serving steaks on a piece of hot stone so you can choose how to cook it is brilliant.

I have been coming here for the last ten years on a motorbiking adventure break with a friend returning each year, so that is a recommendation in itself. Its not just the stunning scenery around the pub that attracts but also the warm welcome you get from Jill and Ahmed. The food and drink are first class with plenty of...

Joined some friends for a weekend exploring the Black Mountains on foot. They had stayed here before, first time for me. Arriving at the venue first, the landlord was very welcoming and a good host. The pub offers tasty food at a good price, I really enjoyed the meals I had both on Friday and Saturday night. The breakfast was...

We met friends for dinner, this is a great pub with a great landlord. Excellent pub grub, really good value and excellent customer service. We tried their homemade pies which were fab but I can't wait to back for one of their sizzling steaks with halloumi. They also do Brecon botanic gin which is the best!
