Lisa was a lovely and an accommodating host! The Casita was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was super clean and had a great view, a perfect place to beat the Nica heat! Location was great as well, only a short walk to town. One of my favorite spots in the area and would recommend to any...

A friend and I stayed for nearly two weeks. SO DAMN RELAXING! The pool was joy, the room was excellent, the setting was all time and Troy is a lord. You're out in the forrest with views of the ocean and no one else around. We had a truck so we would nip into Tola for fruit and vegetables. Then...

To preface: I fell into deep love with Casa Swell and I daydream about it every day. The walk to the beach is a piece of cake. We stayed for one week, had hot water, working wifi and literally no complaints. I recently visited Nicaragua with a friend for a girl's trip. We were looking for adventure, culture and resuscitation...

We stayed for 6 nights at casa swell. We stayed in the upper casita and it was perfect. It had plenty of space, and a beautiful large deck with a hammock which we really enjoyed. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice breeze to keep it cool. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location, however the walk to...

Casa Swell is a little gem. A bit outside of town (15 min stroll), it's peaceful, airy, bright, well appointed and has a lovely host. She gave us a great warm welcoming, helped us with recommendations and getting our lay of the town. We rented little 100cc motobikes from Dales and used these to cruise up to the house faster....

Troy, Lisa and the Daves are an amazing bunch with a lot of local knowledge and experience. The place is absolutely stunning, from the beautiful kitchen inc. the "Survivor Nicaragua" Dinner table to the refreshing pool and the Monkeys over head in the farm out back. I enjoyed every moment spent at Casa Swell and had an extremely hard time...

We stayed for one week at Casa Swell over Christmas and New Years in 2013/14 and had a fantastic time. Gigante is a lovely fishing village, with great surf and beautiful beaches and the accommodation at Casa Swell is perfect. It's a 10 minute walk or so from town, but when you're greeted to a lovely pool & incredible sunsets...
