We spent our time at Kembu Cottages over New Year and it was a great place to spend the tail end of the festive season. We stayed in the utterly charming 'Cobbs Carriage' which I think is very underplayed on the official Kembu website, as the Carriage is set within its own very private garden, comes with a very complete...

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at the Kembu cottages. We stayed in the Markham Beryl 's cottage. That is well away from the ordinary, taking you back in time, old style wooden cottage, rebuilt with care and providing comfort, its new location with a great vieuw, we loved this place! And it does history proud.

This is the third time that I have stayed at Kembu Cottages, and it just gets better and better every time. The cottages are beautiful, with everything you need, and it feels like a real home in the countryside and not a guesthouse. It is the perfect spot to stay, with easy access to Naivasha, Nakuru, Gilgil, etc. The owners,...

Andrew and Zoe provide several cottages for rent with meals provided and cleaning services. You receive first class hospitality and home cooked meals. Both my stays at Kembu have been wonderful. A good place to go to for a rest or to use as a place to branch out and go sightseeing, returning in the evening. I highly recommend Kembu...

What a welcome! And how come we haven't found this gem before. We were welcomed to Kembu after a long ten hour drive by Susan who directed us to our cottage. What a fabulous treat to stay in the historic 100year old Beryl's Cottage. It was lovely, beautifully and sympathetically appointed with the necessary mod cons it is a perfect...

We could not contact Kembu Farm to make a reservation as the phone number on the website was wrong but because we were determined to get out for the weekend, my family of four and my friend's family packed our camping gear and headed out for the long weekend anyway. At the first of two entry gates, we were ushered...

We have just come back from a week at Kembu (Beryl's Cottage). Our hosts, Zoe and Andrew could not have been more accommodating giving us a great insight into the life, challenges and joys of Kenya. The cottage was wonderful and was like stepping back in time but with all the creature comforts. The view I over they Rift Valley...

We stayed at Kembu on our last trip in 2011 so naturally we re-booked again for this trip. this time Zoe had an even better Bungalow to offer us, Cedar in place of Kenane, and we took it. It was lovely. Slept all five of us in comfort and privacy. Not quite the view from Kenane but more private and...

I stayed here for two weeks in July 2014 with a colleague while on a volunteer project at a local school.Unfortunately due to circumstances at the time the group of children who should have accompanied us and camped in the grounds could not come. What a beautiful place. So safe and peaceful. We could not have been made to feel more...

We camped there over the long weekend in October. The place is relatively easy to find, and road is easily accessible with a saloon car. The camping grounds are lush and green. They have small little cookout areas for campers to use. There's a nice bbq pit in the sheds to be cook in. Once small problem was that as...
