We stayed with a couple of friends at this refugio on our hike on the routa st vincentina. The refugio is straight at the trail. It has a couple of convenient rooms, most with view on the sea. The son of the owner Pedro has initiated this routa and knows all ins and outs. We had a lovely cooked dinner...

The site is absolutely beautiful but the owners do not create a welcoming atmosphere, except for the young lady who was very nice. The price is excessive compared to other accomodations of the area. As guests we did not feel comfortable. This is not the hospitality that we were expecting.

We stayed one night at Refugio which is a 15 minutes drive from Porto Covo; beware the road is unpaved and gets rocky ad you approach the B&B. We were greeted by a very nice lady who made us some sandwiches since we were starving. Our room was in front of the ocean and we had an astonishing view. Shower...

This is small and quiet hostel (or small hotel) with 4 or five hotel standard rooms with nice bathroom. My room had direct view and access to ocean with door openning to lawn just next to small rocky cliff. The house is al least 4km away form any town, so it is really quiet. Just amazing location with plenty oportunities...

So, forget luxury, forget nice furniture, forget style, forget interior decoration, forget unforgettable breakfast, BUT remember this simple and raw pearl in front of the Atlantic ocean. The vieuw is breathtaking, the sound of the wawes will lull you to sleep, and the walk on the beach will make you think of Robinsoe Cruso. We wished we had booked two...

As you can read in many comments this is a very basic accommodation but it is definitely worth the price thanks to the beautiful view and a private terrace to enjoy it. It's a quiet place for those who want to escape the city haze.

Always a pleasure returning to this unique location, owned by the Luz family.Second time around it met our expectations again...We stayed in the frontal rooms "superior" with immediate access to the front beach. At night the sky is filled with clearly visible stars, and the moon accompanys it all ...a symphony of nature. The rooms are very simple and there are no...

The place is in a no man's land. There is no public transport which takes you to the place directly. But the whole adventure is in the fact that it is so far away from civilization. The closest town is Porto Covo, beautiful place. It is a good 1 hour walk. The hotel itself is basic, simple yet the location...

PLACE: This place has 6 rooms only so you know for sure that it...

First of all : when you reach the entrance of this B&B THREE AGGRESSIVE DOGS are welcoming you ! Can you imagine this ? The manager, he calls himself the owner, is absolutely unfriendly. Nevertheless the place is nice, the environment is nice. Put a good management in this place and you will get the best hotel of Porto Covo.
