Great location, nice room, friendly staff, free WiFi that works, breakfast bufey and even some fried eggs! Back room a bit noisy from a local club. Good value for money @ Tl 130! Will stay there again if visiting Amasya.

The Simre Hotel is an example of how a boutique hotel should be run. It is located in the center of historic Amasya, literally steps away from the entrance to the tombs of the Pontic kings and close to the river as well. The only time we needed a car was to visit the upper castle but the owner Kemal... More

The room, food, and location are all top-notch. Free Wifi, nice bathrooms, elevators, huge breakfast, etc. When we told the owner that we were archaeology students, he offered to take us to a number of local sites. He drove us up to the castle at the top of the mountain, the tomb of the high priest Tes, and even out... More

Location, building, rooms, bathroom, cleaning worth to 5 stars but huge mistake is management for this small family hotel. The owner is talking too much and loudly all day, you can hear his voice even you are in the room. Not the train noise is the problem which I read from the comments for the hotel, Mr. Kemal is worst... More

It was great Hotel. First of all, it's in the center of old city. It is very clean. Food quality was also very good. Owner and staff of hotel are very helpful. If I visit again Amasya, I will probably stay there. I can suggest to everyone without any hesitation.

“Based on our unforgettable experience - We strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Amasya. This is a small family owned and run hotel. You will often see the owner Mr. Kemal Kavlak at the front desk greeting guests and his wife preparing food in the kitchen. The staff are really helpful even though they are not fluent in... More

I arrived in Amasya at the Simre Hotel with a serious foot infection that had been developing for the last few days. As an solo traveler with no personal transport and little Turkish, this was an serious problem. From the very start, it was clear the staff cares much for their clients. They expressed much concern and arranged a taxi... More

Small hotel run by a family, with very clean linens and towels. The breakfast was yummy (fruits and vegetables were fresh). Almost all the attractions were within walking distance. The staff is very courteous and helpful (the front desk gentleman even drove us to a site that we couldn´t find in a map or GPS). The free parking in the... More

You cannot beat the home made marmelades at breakfast! This B&B hotel is run by a family, all members are on board daily. You want it, they get it for you, at all times. Just wonderful, old fashioned services, making you welcome any time. The property is 3 star, but this does not reflect from the wonderful personal services rendered.... More
