A good place for family holiday . Good food, good staff. Very convenient for park visit, allocated just a shot distance from Kenya wildlife gate. Very clean rooms. Looks very natural Sorounded by roaming wild animals. Africa highest mountain Mt.Kilimanjaro could be viewed directly from your rooms. Masai manyatas are close distance and visitors could visit conveniently and study the lifestyle of the locals.

First camp stop on a recent 2 week safari tour. The drive into the campsite was bumpy and travelled in almost pitch dark, but we got there in one piece. We stayed for two nights. Rooms were great, mine was spacious gpfor one person. I just loved the singing and dancing restraunt staff each night.

Kibo was our first stop on our Kenya and Tanzania tour. It was great start, the tents were luxurious and clean. The views of Kilimanjaro are an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. Being close to the entrance of Amboseli saved a lot of travel time. Highly recommended if you are visiting Amboseli

Beautiful camp with wonderful rooms in full view of Kilimanjaro. Three nights but could have stayed longer. Convenient location for the gate. Enormous thank you to all the staff - the friendliest, cheeriest people we could wish to meet. Special thanks to Duncan and his team in the restaurant for making us feel so welcome and at home… and also patiently helping us with our (very bad) Swahili! Our memories of Kibo were made all the more special by our incredible guide Jesse - we left completely in awe of both Jesse and Amboseli and would love to come back. Two small points of feedback for management. 1) It would be nice if guides are in the same part of the restaurant as guests at mealtimes. 2) Water conservation. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool but couldn’t help but feel very guilty about the amount of water it used, considering the severity of the drought. We would have completely understood if the pool was closed during the drought. More explicit signs educating guests about the need to minimise water usage (taking extra short showers for example) would also be great.

Tentcamp situated just around the corner of the reserve entrance which safes a lot of time. Tents are clean but a bit out of time. Toilet bath area should be completely separated without connecting roofarea. Food is excellent and in buffet stile 3 times a day. Choice is various Personel is very friendly and efficiant.

What a wonderfull place! We stayed here for 2 nights during our safari trip and we totally loved it! It was a lovely glamping experience: beautiful tents, with great view (Kilimanjaro), tasty food (buffet format), friendly staff, nearby Amboseli park. The only remark is the poor wifi signal (only available at the reception and bar). Would highly recommend !

Wow! What an incredible place! We stayed here for 2 nights during our Safari and we loved it! We woke up in the morning and could see Kilimanjaro from our porch - just an amazing view! The staff here were wonderful in all areas of the hotel. The dining experience was fantastic - the service was great & the food was wonderful - tasty & hot - pizzas were made in a wood burning oven right in front of you (although our safari guide got sick from the food here - he ate the meat which we didn't and were fine). The tents were lovely as well - spacious with a water cooler so we always had fresh water. The bed was very comfy. Only improvement would be to add a safety deposit box in the room. At night, they Masai gave a performance around the fire which was really special and we enjoyed it! The place is very tranquil and we would love to return one day!

This was the first stop on a recent safari that my sister and I went on, and it was a great way to start our vacation! First, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating -- we immediately felt welcome (especially since we were greeted with fresh juice and hot towels after a long drive in!). Special shoutout to Duncan in the dining tent and Eliza in the bar area for being extra wonderful. It's located just outside the park gates, which was very convenient. The grounds of the camp are absolutely beautiful and it definitely felt like a little oasis in Amboseli. Our room (I can't really call it a tent -- it was definitely glamping) was very spacious and had an excellent view of Mt Kilimanjaro. The room had a fan, plenty of water, and also plenty of hot water for our showers. We also enjoyed reading on our private patio in our downtime. It was a short walk from our room to the entrance of the camp where the main dining facilities and bar area were -- both of which are also very lovely. We enjoyed a glass of wine near the fireplace at the bar before dinner. The food here is buffet style, and there were plenty of options to choose from (including a station where they cooked food to order depending on the night). A++ would definitely stay here agin!

Stopped there during visit to Amboseli National Park as part of an organized trip. Positive points: - VERY close to Amboseli Nacional Park. - Tented villas are spacious and clean. - Beds with mosquito nets. - Excellent view of Kilimanjaro. Neutral points: - International buffet. Pizza available even. Edible but not a great quality. If you expect local food, you will sorely be dissapointed. - Beautiful decoration, although a bit fake. Negative points: - The staff dance and sing at night to entertain guests, supposedly local dances and songs. Made me feel ashamed. There are better ways of making guests feel welcomed. - Lush garden watered daily 100m away of a desertic national park with big water issues. Big swimming pool. The whole thing was eating my soul apart after watching the thirsty animals in the park. - Packed lunch to take away was a joke: dry roasted chicken, salad (2 slices of tomato and a bunch of raw carrot, no dressing), sandwich (1 slice of tomato + 1 slice of cucumber O.o), 1 industrial muffin, 1 hard rock tiny apple and 1 small brick of industrial juice. - More a tourist resort to spend the week than a safari camp, should change the name. - WiFi not working properly, almost could not complete check-in for our flight.
