My son and I had an unbelievable time with the Maasai on our 12 day Safari. I don't know where to begin, from walking safari's morning and evening to the food and everyone at the camp, just fantastic! From Kenya to Tanzania, the experience was more than we could ever imagine. We saw not only the top 5 animals, but...

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 18 year old niece. It's certainly not the Ritz, but we found it very clean and comfortable and we had the most amazing time here with all the wonderful Maasai staff--Kakuta, Tom, Kwenya and Chef Brian. We went on amazing bush walks with Tom and Kwenya and were constantly amazed at their...

My brother and I travelled to Kenya for my bucket list holiday with the Maasai. We took the 10 day package tour. We were met at the airport by Tom, later to become a baby brother of sorts, who then took us on through the mêlée of Nairobi night traffic to our wonderful hotel The Fairview. Next day we travelled...

I stayed at this camp for 3 nights. The most enjoyable part was getting to know 2 other female solo travelers. I enjoyed the common area and the dinning experience was very nice. The cook was very friendly and made everyone feel very welcome. The accommodations were disappointing. The bug netting did not cover my bed, there were lots of...

Dear Guest, Greetings from the Maasai Simba Camp. Thank you for taking the time to share your review. It was our pleasure extending our hospitality to your stay with us in Amboseli area. I’m glad that you enjoyed the common seating area and the dinning experience. I have noted your comments on a nonworking mosquito net in your room, misplaced...

It was on my bucketlist to meet the Maasai people. The Camp is located quite far from Naroibi, Tom picked us up on time at the hotel and drove straight to the camp. Once we arrived at the camp we were happy to see a beautiful logde and we have been welcomed with juice and tea by a Maasai and...

The Camp is in a beautiful setting in a wooded glade on the savanna; the accommodations well appointed, meticulously maintained and comfortable; and the entire staff highly competent, knowledgeable, hardworking, and caring. The highlight for us, though, were the conversations with the people: our guides Kwenya and Tom, medicine men Spoi and Samaitu, midwife Singote and a group of other...

Maasai Simba Camp is probably the only place where you can actually live in a real Maasai village, meet elders from the community, learn about their government, judicial system, religion, educational system, medical facilities, rites of passage, enjoy walking safaris and make friends! They kept us quite busy and it was all utterly fascinating! When contemplating what would be a meaningful...

Spent a few days staying at the Maasai Simba Camp with my husband. Really enjoyed our visit, the Warriors really looked after us. Would recommend this adventure to anyone wanting something different. The scenery was magnificant, and the animal wildlife was great. Would love to go back.

I have made five trips to Kenya and stayed at Maasai Simba Camp each trip. The people are friendly, the location is ideal, and the food is wonderful. Being able to spend time getting to know the people of the community is a special experience as is the opportunity to take walks among the animals. It is an incredible experience...

We had booked a lovely tented safari in the Maasai Mara but wanted our family 2x boys 16 and 13 to experience more than a five star Kenya. We found the Maasai Simba Camp on tip advisor and took a leap of faith and booked a four night stay. We embraced The Pack with Purpose philosophy and were able to...

Each tent is beautifully furnished with all the usual amenities; it's simple and elegant at the same time. The camp offers clients the most authentic cultural and safari experience in Kenya. Activities include daily walking safari lead by the Maasai warriors, excursion to Amboseli National Park, meeting with Maasai elders and the women cooperative.
