Central location at the main street with amazing good restaurant! I had a simple room for 120k incl breakfast. Basic but good value! The owners Eric and Santhi are also really friendly and are happy to share by their culture, answer your questions about Bira and prepare amazing food! Never had such good food at a homestay!

Looking for a room to stay a few nights, we did check Salassa and yes, they made us a good offer for their rooms, but due to the limited view we choose another place to stay. Therefore we cannot evaluate the guesthouse as such but only the restaurant as these reviews really made us curious. And indeed, the food is...

We were very pleased to stay here, we had a clean new room with clean sheets, the food in the restaurant was very good, cooked with love! The owners are very kind and are always willing to help if they can! Thanks for the nice time in Bira!

We ate here 3 times and the food was consistently good although the wait time in undeniably torturous. We alleviated some of the delay by pre ordering earlier in the day. Shanti is a great cook and a lovely lady to chat to. Eric, her husband, is also friendly and helpful.... on the surface. We had been impressed by the...

Eric and his wife run a very good restaurant - tasty dishes with fresh spices and ingredients - and has just finished a few good bungalows in a garden at the back of the restaurant. Eric is also very helpfull in organizing trips and transportation. And evrything comes with a laugh. Much recommended!

Nice Guest House, very friendly Owners. The food is very good, but it takes 1,5 hour waiting time for most of the dishes, which is definitely too long, cause it was not more than 4 other guests. The problem here is the staff, they don´t speak English and are too unfriendly. My resume: in total I cannot recommend it.

Shanti cooks the best food in Indonesia...and probably in Asia :) This guesthouse is incredibly homey. I arrived as a customer 5 days ago and leave as a friend. My plan was to leave for Selayar island but I felt so good here that I didn't leave. Eric and Shanti are incredibly helpful and honest. Their English is so good,...
