Stunning resort on the hill above Lovina. Cute and comfortable bungalows. Amazing infinity pool with beautiful view. Good food, with option to have floating breakfast in the pool. Friendly staff, I totally recommend.

Absolutely horrific customer service and standards. I ordered a red curry from the restaurant and what I was handed was a hot watery mess. I took back the dish and was told by the chef that they make the curry by boiling water and putting 3 scoops of powder from a packet in. It definitely tasted as such. The chef was apologetic and I assumed that was the end of it, albeit still disappointed. A few minutes later, the manager knocked on my room door and began with a smile and explained to me that I was wrong to bring the food back, because the curry I had ordered was up to their standards. He then began to argue with me telling me they cook the curry using coconut milk, which was a blatant lie as the chef who actually cooked the food told me otherwise. After 15 minutes of back and forth, the manager was insisting that I still pay for the dish that I had not eaten. I was undoubtedly quite angry with his response, and walked back to the kitchen with him to show his staff exactly what a red curry is and how what I had received was a soup at best, but he again was adamant that I was wrong and he was right. He even said in Indonesian to his staff to make sure no other guests hear about the commotion. Obviously they only care about reputation and money. Second concern was when I saw a staff member pouring white cloudy liquid into the pool at around 8am. Upon asking what he was doing, he said it was chlorine and that the pool would be safe to swim in about 30 minutes once it had dissolved. There was no prior notice or signage to state the pool was under maintenance and unusable for a period of time, and absolutely no guests were notified. After 3 hours, I decided to check if the pool was okay to swim in. I was in for less than 5 minutes before my skin started to sting, and you could visibly see the crystals of chlorine (or whatever he had used) at the bottom of the pool. Upon check out, I brought up these concerns with the owner himself, Stephane, who in typical French fashion began arguing with me too saying that in fact I was wrong about the food, that his chefs know exactly how to cook, and that I should just go elsewhere if I am not happy. He in fact told me to go to a nearby 5 star hotel, insinuating my standards were too high. Considering this is a ‘4 star’ resort, yes in fact my standards were relative to that. But to be told flat out “well go somewhere else then, this is our standard” when the food they cook is less than edible, and the pool could have caused serious harm to anyone with skin conditions as there were no adequate signage, is appalling. I am absolutely horrified and disgusted with their behaviour and lack of compassion towards my concerns.

Our stay was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stay in the sea view room which is the view is incredible. The staff were really nice and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant, which is for us the food is not worth for the price. Our room also not included with the breakfast, so the next morning we decided to eat outside.

Nice place situated on the hill with sea view from the swimming pool. It's a bit far from the center of Lovina but there are free shuttles from the hotel. Good place for relax after traveling through Java island. There is one thing to improve, give something more for breakfast as it's only nasi goreng, eggs and toast as the main meal. Food in restaurant is a bit expensive and portions rather small for European standards. Last time we've waited more than hour for the food.

Loved the stay here, it has the best view looking out from the infinity pool. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. If your looking to get away from the busy cities this is the place to go! Plus the owners dog Bruno is very friendly
