What can I say? The rooms are very nice, but its the service here that makes it outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. Not only did we stay here, but had a family dinner for over 50 people in the conservatory on Easter Saturday, which was fantastic. In the run up, we had to make changes many times and a...

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Norfolk Broads. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was beautifully clean, as was everywhere else. The swimming pool looked lovely and the grounds were nice and well maintained. The lady who greeted us was lovely, very helpful and made a fuss of our puppy. The food was...

We booked for 1 night. On entry there is a small reception ahead, a small bar to the left. A function room/dining room to the right and through that a lounge area with lovely comfy sofas. To the left of entry is a large function roo. We were in a bedroom on the ground floor in the new part of...

I found the old rectory at random after a booking.com search. There was a bit of a cock up with the booking so I called the hotel who were fine and confirmed the booking was safe. The hotel is set in attractive grounds, and I've really never found anywhere so quiet. The place was empty! I had dinner in the...

We had a family room which comprised of two interconnecting rooms in the main building not far from reception. The rooms were a good size with plenty of room for the dog. This is not a high end hotel nor does it claim to be one. We found our rooms to be well furnished, spotless with fresh, crisp linen. Fortunately...

A lovely small hotel handy for Norwich and The Broads. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruit locally sourced produce and a huge selection of jams and marmalade. Highly recommended.

I stayed here on Saturday night with my boyfriend as a birthday surprise for him. The hotel is a little gem! The staff bent over backwards to make us welcome and couldn't do enough to help. The room was beautiful, the lounge area is very cosy and breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and...

Booked a very last minute one night stay here this weekend as couldn't have been happier with what we got. The girl on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We got a lovely and clean, nicely decorated and well equipped room. Comfy bed too, i slept like a log! Breakfast the following morning was served by the same reception girl...
