A perfect place to stay when you are looking for a personal hotel. Like visiting the home of a friend. Lovely staff, charming house and a wonderful garden with a pool. We stayed in the tower room, beautiful view, quiet and spacious, but a steep staircase. Breakfast was good. Opportunity to have dinner at an extra cost. Only negative was... More

Charming medieval hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Large rooms, nice bedding, wonderful hotel staff. An easy drive from Gerona - you can catch a train from Barcelona to Gerona, rent a car and have a fun time touring the mountain villages along the way. Excellent dinners specializing in Catelonia cuisine. We stayed at Hotel La Sala De Camos... More

Having greatly enjoyed 3 nights here last year, we stayed again recently but were surprised and disappointed to find that the previous owners(?)/managers Joan and Sandra had recently retired. The new young couple running the hotel are equally pleasant and keen to please and have made no significant changes other than upgrading the WiFi so it is now available in... More

This is a family-run hotel in the countryside: when we arrived the geese were crossing the road, when we went for a walk, the goats were sliding down the hillside and our breakfast was made with eggs from the farm next door. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and the dining room is a magnificent baronial hall. All... More

Great and beautiful place to stay with magnificent grounds. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Joan and Sandra are the best hosts ever! Good food, good wine, very good bedrooms and beds, on top of that there is a fireplace for the cold nights!

We recently stayed here 3 nights and were very happy with our stay. The location in a quiet wooded valley is delightful and makes for a very relaxing time. There was only 1 other couple staying and we were upgraded to a lovely, much bigger room with a separate lounge area. We were made very welcome and Joan and Sandra... More

We decided to stay in this small hotel on our way from Madrid to Languedoc in France. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Joan and Sandra are very relaxed and make sure you have everything you need. We decided to have dinner the day we arrived and really enjoyed Sandra's home-cooked meals. Joan introduced us to... the hotel is about 30 mins north of Girona, and the last bit is up a pretty winding road. In 3 nights we ate in twice and had the most amazing food. Pool was useful although there were quite a few flies around given its country side location. We visited the Lake at Banyoles and did some mountain and road... More
