Poor service, we travelled all the islands and this place was the worst. Dirty rooms, rude staff and overpriced food. Rather pay a bit more and stay somewhere else

After a steep climb up some stairs we reached our room for the night. The walls were paper think, as well as the floor. We could easily hear everything going on in the neighbour's room. There was a bed and a fan, which made a terrible noise. Unfortunately you could not sleep without the fan, since there was a moldy...

Wonderful rooms covered in wood! Superb massage next door. Excellent food at restaurant downstairs. And right on the beach! Go for it!

Ate at the restaurant which seemed on par in terms of cost to the other hotel restaurants on East Railay. Ordered the grilled tuna and the mixed seafood plate which looked really good on the display plates (these were not used on the bbq - they took other seafood from the back unlike other restaurants on Railay!). Had to ask...

What a disappointment!! What seemed a quirky, cool place turned out to be a VERY basic, dirty hotel. The door had so many cracks in it I had to use my towels to prevent mosquitos coming in, and the rotten egg smell was so strong I literally couldn't sleep through the night. The second and third floors are up stairs...

First time at restuarant ate with my fiance, and had to throw away the yaya burger as was disgusting. Second night we ate there my fiance had pasta with white sauce and prawns, and again had to throw away, the sauce tasted like rotten eggs, sulphur and had the texture of white jelly. the prawns were covered in it unfortauntly,...

My partner and I wanted a flexible holiday in Thailand and although we could afford to stay in the more expensive style of resort, we were not looking for luxury: we would rather not spend all our money on accommodation. We booked 2 nights in Ya Ya Resort from the UK after seeing an entry for it in The Rough...

Ya Ya was a huge disappointment. 1750B/night for a ‘superior’ room with A/C and a double-bed including b’fast plus 300B/night for an extra bed (we had a friend staying with us). This room was on the first floor and was an absolute pit. The bathroom was disgusting; brown, stinky water, and the shower head was filled with crud that my...

On arriving at Railay West and walking to Railay East, not sure really where to begin, a passerby saw my backpack and must have assumed i was looking for the cheapest accommodation possible. She directed me to Yaya. I was shown a room that on brief inspection seemed ok. And for the price it probably was. But within an hour...

Again, like everyone else has said, don't stay here even though it seems as if there are no other options. A cheap hotel pretending to be a 'resort', not helpful or friendly once they have your money, everything in the rooms cheap and broken. At first glance it looks quite charming, but don't encourage managers/owners who really could care less about...
