We booked through Agoda, and thought we had book the nicer of the Princess hotels. WRONG, we immediately got sent to the budget, which was kind of a buzzkill. That being said, it was good for a budget hotel in a VERY touristy area of the country. It was a clean place to sleep. There were some mosquitos...but again....it's obviously...

we stayed in this resort for 2 nights during when we were travelling with a group tour! on first sight it looked like such a quaint place, and i loved the idea of climbing up the steep steps to get to the bungalow type rooms stacked on top of each other!! but the reality is, it was quite difficult to...

The room was small and basic, but clean. The building was wooden, and had a treehouse/bungalow feel to it. But the rooms seemed to be crammed in to all available space. Overall, fine if you're planning to spend the majority of your time out exploring, climbing, sailing, lying on the beach etc. But definitely not for you if you're looking...

This is a good budget option if you are planing to spend most of your time climbing and being outdoors. The resort is a group of three story wooden bungalows full of character set amongst trees and winding paths. The rooms are mostly wooden with fans and could do with updating. The bathroom is adequate at best and we did...

Previously called Ya Ya resort, Princess Budget Wing is all you need in beautiful Railay. Treehouse type bungalows in the middle of a forest, the rooms were clean, hot shower, a great fan that was very strategically placed directly over the bed and the staff very friendly. Our first room wasn't the best, at the back and looking over a...

I've given this hotel 2 stars because it is a 2 star property not because we had a bad experience. This hotel was formerly called Ya Ya resort. We booked online last minute and stayed over new years (mainly because everywhere else was full). We paid 2200baht for 2 nights. It was a little noisy one of the mornings, but...

Some rooms better than others (we had to change around as there were different numbers of us at different times) Rooms have a bit of character to them as they are wooden, could say a bit dingy. I liked it though. It's in a good location and one of the cheapest in Railay so I would stay there again. Nothing...

Hotel and rooms are very basic, but if you life not on 1st floor, be very careful - because stairs are very very dangerous! :) Staff is ok, prices could be lower, but it`s ok.

Unfortunately there's not a lot to choose from for budget accommodation on Railay, especially if you want something close to the beach (even if it's the ugly and muddy East Railay). For 790B you get a fan room with the a comfortable enough bed and a cold water shower. The walls are very thin and you can hear absolutely everything...

Stayed here for 3 nights and it is actually owned by Princess Resorts now - we didn't know that until we asked around after aimlessly walking for 30 mins. The room was clean, no view, and had very dark wood. Slightly depressing, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.
