Because this was such a magical experience, I gave 5 stars in spite of disappointing meals and I came home covered in mosquito and sea lice bites. Wow--that's not so much a glowing review, but hold on. In spite of this, I *loved* Rayavadee. To say that it is set in beautiful surroundings is an understatement. The grounds are a...

We stayed at Rayavade for 6 nights on our way back from Australia. What an amazing find. The staff were lovely from the first Sawadee and throughout every one we interacted with was a credit to the resort. We stayed in a deluxe will a which was gorgeous. We were close to the pool which suited us well. The food...

Set in 24 acres of coconut palm grove, this is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled places in Thailand, if not the world. Three beautiful beaches, that have public access also, together with semi cultivated and natural gardens within which individual pavilions nestle. Four different restaurants to choose from, food and wine served to perfection, and wonderful, caring staff who...

We stayed at the Rayavadee for a total of 2 nights after our trip from Koh Lanta. We were not aware that the hotel can arrange travel from the pier, we have therefore took the longtail boat where we had to carry the suitcases by hand. As we got off the shore, out feet is in water therefore we cannot...

We arrived at the Rayavadee on the 13th of October which is classed as shoulder season for a 10 day stay. The drive from Suvarnabhumi airport to the pier (where the boat will take you to the Rayavadee) is not far at all, around 25-20 minutes. Usually a private car (included in your package) will take you to and from...

First of all the review by "Marina A" below is absolutely ridiculous and unbelievably harsh. One of the hotels main selling points is its lush expansive gardens so to moan about long walks is a joke. If you are lazy and don't appreciate well looked after grounds this hotel isn't for you. We found the hotel to be immaculate and...

The Rayavadee Resort aims to be a 5-star resort in southern Thailand. Overall, it is not quite there yet. The buildings and grounds are 5-star to be sure, but there are a few things that would enable them to climb up the international resort standings. But let's start with the positives. Guests (couples or small families) are provided with a...

It's a huge resort with so many people and families, that you dont feel peace at any moment. The staff is kind but there not enough people working for the amount of guest they have, so everything is very slow. As the hotel is really big most of the time you need to get the golf car to the places...
