Wow wow wow!!! This place is absolutely stunning! The view from the endless pool is to die for! The place is spotless and the rooms very spacious and beautiful with great air conditioning! You can watch people climbing the cliffs from the pool. Breakfast was delicious, lots and lots of choice and very plentiful! It is only 5 mins walk to the Main Street in railay and close to all beaches! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and very sorry we have to leave! And to top it all the staff were amazing! Every single person was unbelievably helpful and smiley - even when we ended up having to call them out at night as our kids locked themselves out of their room! I cannot recommend this place enough! Railay itself is something quite unique and well worth a visit - it is breathtakingly gorgeous and we’ve seen monkeys and giant lizards as well as some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand and the restaurants are great and really reasonably priced! I can’t wait to come back again sometime!!

Super love the view, saw monkeys and birds. Kids love the place so much, the staff here is amazing and very friendly. It's really nice to watch and sit on the pool. The room is big and always clean. Waking up in the morning and watching a beautiful birds flying or resting outside our balcony is amazing experience for my kids. One of the best place we stayed.

We booked this place to stay as a couple for a retreat purpose. Paid more money to get the best room with the best view. We got what we wanted but unfortunately the whole experience was very disappointing. Pros: 1.Beautiful view. Situated in the midst of greenery looking out onto East side of Railay. 2. They provide a transport to go down to the beachfront and back up.(a tractor type vehicle) The resort is up in the hill, you need to be fit to stay here to walk up and down. We didn't mind. 3. Most staff are nice and polite (with an exception of a maintenance guy.) 4. Breakfast was average (except the flies on the tables and bees in jam jars) Cons: 1.We were unfortunate to be there the same time as 2 big groups consisted of 40 plus something people. We had one guy shouting below us onto his friends at the pool. He kept making crazy noise with no consideration of other people's privacy. I know this is hard for the resort to control so this is NOT a complaint but a suggestion. For example, instead of telling us that the vehicle cannot take us back up to the lobby because the driver was waiting for the group of guests, he should have at least provided another vehicle for us. That way we would not have felt that the group guests had priority over individuals like us even though we paid more money. I think the staff are not well-trained to have service mind. If things cannot be done within that moment, they should promptly take action to find creative solution! A little thing like that does count! For the rest of our stay we walked up and down from hotel to beachfront, couldn't be bothered anymore. 2.We hadn't realised that this place is a TWO STAR HOTEL according to Google. So there is NO SAFE in the room. And there are no pool towels provided. 3.It took ages for us to get into the room.Check in time is 2 PM. But we had to wait and to keep asking them if our room was ready as they sent us to wait at the pool bar. And there was no one bother notifying us. Another couple encountered the same issue but had to wait longer than us. 4. Leaks in the roof. Never before did we encounter leaking ceiling when staying in a seemingly well looked after resort. We had to try to sleep with the sound of rain drops onto ceiling. Water was flowing down onto the bathroom door and down onto the floor. We laughed even though it wasn't funny in the end! They were notified and we were told that they were going to recompense us in some way. Rooms were all booked out. So in the morning after some guests had checked out, they asked if we wanted to move, but that would mean losing a room with the view we had originally booked for. So we decided not to move to save trouble packing and unpacking. 5. The shower had no hot water for the 1st day and more half, we in the end couldn't cope with cold shower anymore, so we called for maintenance guy to come and fix. Waited 30 minutes and this guy smelled of alcohol came with another lady who might be an owner not sure. He in the end fixed it but he was rude, no apology from both persons. 6. They maid did not understand the "Do not disturb" sign. Because of no safe in the room, we wanted to go for breakfast quickly and come back up without having to lock our valuables in the case. So you would have thought hanging the sign "do not disturb" on the door would stop anyone from entering in. But nope! We came back only to find that the room was done. Thanks for their enthusiasm to clean but that's not what the guests wanted! Hotel staff apologised for the mistake. But it's that many "small little things" that count towards how well the guests are treated and cared for. The administrator of FB page sent apologies for all the troubles we had. That's about it. For the money we paid (almost 3000 b a night!) and the service we got, we felt ripped off. We aren't coming back here.

This place is an absolute gem and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Railay! The pictures don’t do it justice as to just how beautiful it is - tucked away from the main town, deep in the jungle. All of the staff are amazing (5* service) and the arrival transfer is well worth it (& fun). My kids wouldn’t leave until I promised them that we would return! Thank you for such a memorable stay xx

The grounds were nice, but once the smell of disinfectant wore off our room smelled like sewage. The smell was so bad it kept us awake at night. We were also getting bitten in bed - we suspect bedbugs. We asked to move rooms for the second night and the next room was better - no smell, no bedbugs. I'm not sure why they would give that first room to anyone. The staff didn't even ask what the problem with the first room was - clearly they knew!

The only mode of transportation to this place is long tail, which makes this place unique.  Two amazing beaches (East - very calm, West - very wild) in close proximity.  Diamond cave is just at its entrance. The Resort itself seems like it is carved from the forest, fully green. Service is similar to a 5 star hotel. It was an amazing experience being here in this property.

For the Railay area, I have to say this hotel has noticeably great service with very kind and friendly staff. You are treated very well and the staff really do their best to make you feel welcome and to help you throughout your stay. The view is very lovely and the grounds are so peaceful. It is quieter and you are really tucked in nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The balcony we had was so nice and we had a lovely green and garden view. Though you are not on the beaches, it isn't hard to get to them and there is a shuttle service as well- though I really enjoyed walking and being active. I think this is a great option if you choose to stay in Railay- oh and they are one of the few hotels that serve alcohol ;).

Set on a small hillside above the main town area overlooking the eastern ocean and surrounded by towering limestone cliffs with monkeys, gibbons and other wildlife. The grounds are well kept, pool and surrounding area also very nice. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable but all i would say is it was very dark at night - the low power LED bulbs recessed into the ceiling made for a very dim room. I kept turning the light switch on only to realise the lights were already on! Its about a 2 minute walk from the Diamond cave and 5 minutes from the main walking street area (albeit the way back is up a small hill!). Would highly recommend it.

Back to one of my favourite places on earth and in a new hotel.Tucked up under the cliffs away from the crowds you will find this oasis of peace and beauty. The view from the infinity pool and the terrace restaurant area is simply breathtaking. Family room with it's own balcony and full glass end wall was a delight.Great staff, good food and howling monkeys for a wake up call. The hotel is up a steady hill and infirm or unfit people will find it a bit of a struggle but a shuttle is available and it's well worth the climb. Why stay anywhere else?.

We stayed 2 families for 4 days I Phutawan resort. We chose that resort because we wanted to stay a bit away from the beach which is very crowded. We were so happy with our stay here. The welcome was warm and sincere and the familiy room was great. Big room and a big bed plus a normal bed for our 2 big children. The baby sleept in a cottage provided for free. The bathroom was big, and the showering area was even bigger. This was a bit weird since we would rather have more space in the bathroom but this is a minor detail. The upside was that all 5 off us could shower at one time 😉 The hotel is located up the hill with a fantastic view with the beach one way and jungle and rocks the other. There is an infinity pool and lounge area so this is a nice place to cool down and relax. Is takes 7 min to walk to the town and beach, but if you’re lazy you can just take the hotel shuffle car for free 😉 The cleaning standard was very high which is a huge upside for us. We also had our laundry done and it came back nicely folded and clean 👍 The only negative we can say about Phutawan is that the bar closes already at 10.00 pm. It would have been nice to enjoy some adult time a little longer. The staff was also in quite a rush to get everything shut down when the time was close to 10.00. I guess they very exited about getting off which I understand, but it seemed as they wanted us gone from the bar, and that’s not so cool and also the opposite of everything else we experienced at our stay there.
