We stayed in the largest room which was still quite reasonable imo. Well furnished with comfortable king bed with fireplace. Excellent breakfasts. If visiting the nearby gardens this is the best place to stay.
We stayed for two night. The house is a delight and in a wonderful location. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is top drawer. The garden is a lovely place to relax and enjoy tea and cake.

We had Hemstead which seemed pretty small for £170 a night ditto cramped en suite, picture on website rather misleading. Wi fi kept dropping off but was free. Tea tray very standard. Breakfast good, nice fresh fruit including local cherries, all usual egg options etc....More

We walked to The Milk House - but It was the summer! We had a taxi to and from the rail station though, and Sue gave us their number, so contacting her would be a good idea. I'm sure you will have a lovely time.
