We stayed for one night on way south from Santander. The hotel is amazing, very Spanish. The room was five star. Friendly staff. The only problem we found was that the restaurant was closed, probably due to time of year. The cafeteria was open and the staff could not do enough for us. Recommended and very good value.

We stayed here on our long drive south to Marbella. We had stayed here by chance 2 years ago while making the same trek and enjoyed it very much then. Despite its location close to the motorway the building is beautiful and the traffic seems miles away. It is an oasis of calm. The service is good and the food...

We stayed at this lovely hotel with our 2 dogs on route from Costa Del Sol to UK.On arrival, due to the fact that we had quite a lot of dog stuff etc,the man at reception said we could use the underground car park with no charge as there was access to the lift from there, which was really appreciated as the...

Stayed here for one night in August on our way to Torrox. As previous reviewers have already said, viewed from the highway, the hotel doesn't look anything special..so we were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the reception area. All areas of the hotel are full of character! Our bedroom (a superior double with huge, comfy bed) was lovely; very...

We saw this from the motorway and it didn't look great from the outside but we were tired and just wanted somewhere to sleep. When we got close we could see it was much better than we had thought. The inside is very nicely decorated with various interesting antiques. They told us the restaurant opened at 7:30 but we went...

Stayed here for the Robregordo Classic Trial. The proprietors and staff are absolutely brilliant and couldnt do enough for us. The cleanliness and presentation of the hotel was second to none. We will definitely be back. From the Irish Boys

Stayed here on night of 18th Jan. Beautiful hotel. Was met by a lovely British receptionist who booked dinner for us, showed us to our two bedrooms and informed us of the lovely breakfast buffet that would be available in the morning. So far so good. What could go wrong? Unfortunately, we were the only people dining that night, so...

The hotel at first glance appears to be in a noisy location but it's so peaceful that you can be assured of a good nights sleep. It's 4 hours from Santander and 1 hour north of Madrid on the A1 so perfect for travellers to/from the ferry. It's an old building full of charm and character but has all modern...

“We booked through Booking.com, but the room was 20 euros cheaper through the hotel website, so we cancelled and re-booked. Not sure we would bother with a suite, as the superior double had plenty of space to sit and relax, as there was also a small settee, armchair and table.”
