Detailed Reviews
Although the hotel is two star official rating I feel it deserves higher. As a group of four guys travelling on a bike holiday it met all our needs. Plenty of off road parking which is important to us. The hotel is clean and the rooms we had are a good size with a clean en-suite shower room. Breakfast is self service, varied and plenty of choice.
Due to Covid we had to get tests done in Santander before return to UK and the staff we very helpful by printing out all the groups documents with no charge.

After driving the 80minutes or so from Santander, one reaches Ojedo and Potes; both lovely towns with plenty to see and do. Afternoon check in so a pleasant day was spent exploring the local countryside and it’s (even in the rain) spectacular views.
The area is very popular with motorcyclists and the hotel seems to specialise in, or certainly cater for, the clique.
We checked in and found our spacious en suite room to be everything we could have wanted. The toiletry fairies could have been a little more generous but we were well enough stocked.
The bar was lovely and at times lively. The enormous breakfast room doubles as a function suite and there was a different one for each of the three nights of our stay.
The attached restaurant was friendly and very efficient especially as they shared the kitchen between themselves and the aforementioned functions.
Food. Good, service excellent, wine ditto.
Breakfast:
Generally very good. Plenty of good solid grub but a couple of items of positive criticism. The chafing dish for keeping eggs and bacon piping hot is a great deal more successful if filled with hot water and perhaps having its burners lit. Otherwise it’s a scramble (sorry) every time fresh HOT eggs are added to go with the definitely cold bacon.
The very picturesque (some say romantic) samovar providing hot water for making tea should be retired to the oddities and curios shelf and a more reliable, constant source of boiling water adopted.
The on site pool is lovely. I only left on the arrival of a group of mothers and their little treasures. I can’t blame the hotel for this…..
All this aside. We had a fabulous stay with some wonderful staff in a lovely hotel.
I’d go again.

First day of vacation at the hotel.
We opened the pool and relaxed after sunbathing we headed to the dining room for dinner......
I couldn't express in words the feast of our taste buds.
* Registration attention
* Presentation of dishes
* Copious and on-point menu
Even the salad dressing is perfect.
What surprises will breakfast bring us......?

If you don’t like sleep then this is the place to go. Obviously can’t stop the road noise, but the noise from the flat hand game across the road goes on till gone midnight. You can hear your neighbours in the next room taking a shower and moving about. Walls paper thin. No safe in room.
Room adequate, pillows awful and no air conditioning so have to have window open!
Breakfast appalling. Cheap ham and cheese and a few bits of bread and croissants! The scrambled egg looked disgusting so didn’t touch.
Very disappointed as was looking forward to our visit. Yes it’s only 2 star but expected better

We stayed here for 7 nights whilst exploring the Picos de Europa and it did not disappoint! Comfortable, clean room and plenty of outside terraces for enjoying a drink. Breakfast choice was really good and always stocked up. The set menu at dinner is amazing value for money, large portions and very tasty. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room reeked of cigaettes so I asked to change rooms (twice) but was told none were available. Couldn't stay in the room for very long. Would have gone to a different hotel but all locally were full also.

This was our 2nd stay at the Infantado, last time was only for one night & this time we decided to stay 3 nights
The hotel location is ideal for exploring the Picos de Europa and surrounding area. The staff are very friendly & helpful.
The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are clean with comfortable beds

The hotel is terrible, very old rooms with old real estate.
Not recommended.
The room had 2 beds, and in one of them there were no sheets.
The breakfast, one of the worst I have seen in my life, with low quality products and if something runs out they do not replenish it, despite it being 9 in the morning.
The receptionist simply took our ID and did not even explain where each of the rooms were.
Without a doubt, I will not return.

We stayed here as part of our trip through Cantabria. I think is the best option around. Rooms have all the basics and although it’s close to the road the views of the mountains are amazing. The food in Spain has been a little tough fou our stomachs and they went out of their way when my partner got sick. The location is outstandingly beautiful

I led a group of a dozen travelers for the Snowshoe World Championships and we stayed with the U.S. Team at Infantado Hotel. Most of our group were placed on the 3rd floor, five floors above the lobby.
The accommodations and service were fine. Check in and checkout were fast and efficient. We stayed three days, which gave our college students time to run and explore the area, and take in the local area. Despite the on and off rain, we made the best of the weather and enjoyed our time while staying at Infantado.
The continental breakfast was quite good, but the restaurant at the Infantado was really accommodating for our group. Fast and pleasant service and great food ~ we would have eaten there the following night but we were obligated to attend the banquet and awards.
