Great attention. Very attentive. If you are not sure what to do, they recommend plans. Breakfast included of very good quality and large quantity. Cozy place, surrounded by nature and mountains. Great tranquility and a lot of calm. Very close to Potes and other places of interest.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and had a lovely room decorated in chalet-style with a superb view of the mountains. It is really quiet yet just outside the lovely town of Potes, very convenient for walking in the Picos. You can sit out in the gardens or in the sun lounge, reading and looking at the mountain views. Alberto made us very welcome. Breakfasts were excellent. My husband hurt himself while out walking and Alberto took the time to show us where the local hospital and doctors were and got him an urgent appointment, really helpful as we don't speak any Spanish. Huge thanks to Alberto for looking after us so well!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely posada, bed and breakfast. The room was adorable, with a rustic yet well equipped room. Alberto, the owner, is very helpful and sweet. The breakfast is great and the location is fabulous! It is situated in Frama, a small town right outside the beautiful Potes. The BB has a spectular garden with amazing views of the Picos!

+1
for one night with the parking space and expect nothing
Like · Finding a hotel with a parking space in Potes is not easy. We only wanted to stay one night while passing through. The owner waited for us until 8 p.m. He only speaks Spanish but has a digital translator and was very good at communicating. The bed was good. It was totally quiet at night!
Didn't like · The room was for one night to sleep in, not otherwise! Dark, uncomfortable, the window in some kind of tin roof. From the outside I don't think there is a bright room. Bathroom old, shabby. Breakfast very basic.
We visited the strange Cueva di Soplao beforehand and then drove along the CA 282. Very winding and beautiful.

Pictures show a pretty chalet & we booked for several days. Very disappointed.
The building style meant only small velux windows for light. Our room was very, very dark and we couldn't change rooms. You could plug in a side light or use a kettle , but without the light you couldn't see what you were doing!
It all looked very neglected. What little light downstairs was obscured by overgrown vegetation. The grounds all needed a good mow. It was peak season & half a days work would have transformed the grounds.
Unfortunately, the owner won't get this as he doesn't speak one word of English & he has been running it for years! Without a little bad Spanish, we would have been in real trouble at one point.
You are locked out of the breakfast room till your 'slot'. Then you are presented with an adequate breakfast including one slice of toast which is cold if you want cereal first. When I asked for more, they reheated the cold toast!
We were very disappointed for the money. Don't be fooled by the pictures.
Previous reviews looked good, but they are easily pleased!!

On arrival, you are asked to call Alberto the owner, no problem though as he answered quickly and was only waiting 5-10 minutes, of which we were admiring the stunning views!
Room was fine, adequate for two people touring on motorbikes and breakfast was ample (cereals, toast, coffee, tea, cold selection of meats, yogurts, fruit, cakes) to set you up for the day, cleaned daily, garden fabulous, and we walked to Potes most evenings, 20 mins walk, to the 1st pub....
Yes, Alberto speaks very little English, but we overcome this, with Alberto's help ..he translated on Google, very helpful, and in return we learnt a few Spanish words too, inspired us to start a Spanish language course, Alberto was an absolute gem...very helpful, considerate and kind, we had an amazing four days, (three of which we had the place to ourselves as empty) ...will definitely return....sin Dudo volveramos!
Muy Bien! Gracious Alberto!

Dark, dismal and dirty. Manager spoke no English and was not on site much. No other staff seen. Put up with it for the 2 days booked, then went to nearby village and had 2 wonderful days with delightful surroundings and staff.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on a road trip through northern Spain and south to the Algarve. My sister had recommended it to us. Firstly, it's very near to Potes, which is a beautiful little town that is well worth spending some time in. Secondly, it's in the Picos de Europa, one of the most beautiful areas in Europe, Thirdly, Alberto is a great guy who runs a quirky little hotel. We had a decent and very clean room with a comfy bed that we slept well in. We ate in Potes (see review of Casa Cayo) and I brought some cold beers back to the garden, which is a wonderful place to watch the sun go down with a cold beer. I'm more than happy to pass my sister's recommendation on to you.

In over 30 years of traveling this has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed... its absolutely beautiful, the rooms are just lovely with amazing views, breakfast included a good selection of food and Albert is a wonderful host... staying here was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip in Spain. Its in an excellent location as Frama is a five minute drive out of Potes. Albert gave us information on a wine tour where we were presented with a free bottle of wine at the end, he also gave us information on where to go to hear about how they make cheese. He then invited us to his pub in town, served us drinks and wouldn't let us pay for them! I can't say enough lovely things about Albert and this beautiful place..

A large comfortable posada (guesthouse), with half a dozen en-suite guest rooms, and a sitting room and garden terrace for guest use. The posada has a quiet rural location in Frama, about 4km from Potes, with commanding views. The posada serves only breakfast and Frama village has no facilities. Most guests have their own car. It is otherwise a pleasant walk of about 40 minutes to the centre of Potes for meals, or there are taxis. Little English is spoken.

Nosotros estuvimos en Santillana del Mar y en San Vicente de la Barquera. Como 1 h y media, no sé si hay alguna playa más cerca.
