My girlfriend and I stayed in this guest house in Earlston in April 2016 for a night when we were attending a wedding in nearby Lauder. We couldn't have chose a better place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even made us a cup of tea on arrival...

The Scottish borders is a bit of a lottery when it comes to reasonably priced accommodation. Some hotels down here get away with murder re their prices. A happy exception to this is the Broomfield House in Earlston. I had a single bedroom, small but very clean and tidy, with its own shower room, for £35. Breakfast was very good...

Stayed here for a few nights. Hospitable accommodation. Friendly family. Home cooked breakfast. WiFi available. Shower water was weak in the mornings and rooms a little bit cold early mornings but we'll decorated and spotlessly clean. Parking available at the back.

Having stayed several times now I couldn't ask for better. I've stayed within the area at other hotels and b&bs and was appalled at the condition and prices. Broomfield however really sets the bar, tremendous hospitality from owners who care, very well kept house and exceptionally clean with attention to the small details. Beds were very comfy and really was...

Fabulous reception from a family who's heart and souls are into this and it shows. Although the individual bathrooms are not ensuite I have yet to meet a cleaner one. The breakfast is excellent and I would definitely stay there again.

i stayed for three nights, very comfortable stay, extremely friendly family were nothing is any trouble, a bit of an inconvenience with room not being on suite, i would recommend you take a robe, or get an on suite room, but the overall experience is a pleasurable one, and i would definatly stay again. excellent breakfast.
