We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. Paid a bit more for a sea view and spent hours watching the fishing boats coming in and out. Great location, clean and tidy and very quiet. Staff were always around even though we thought we might be the only guests. Would definitely stay again

Brilliant and friendly staff who managed to help us with everything we wanted, even those who didn't speak too much English - I should have been able to speak more Spanish. The rooms were lovely. We had a room at the back with a view across the marina and out to sea with a small balcony. It was perfect. Caleta...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in the area to purchase a holiday home in nearby Velez Malaga. The hotel is basic but this is reflected in the extremely good value prices. We paid under 50 euro a night for a room with views onto the Marina (pay the extra for the room with a view-...

We stayed here a while ago, when in the area looking at property. Easy to find just off the motorway, about 30 mins from Malaga airport. Plenty of parking on the street ouside and to the rear. A short walk to beach, restaurants etc. Our room was a good size as was the bathroom, sea view balcony with sun loungers,...

While drifting east from Malaga, to get away from crowds, we found this little gem of an hotel. Clean, pleasant, overlooking a marina and working fish port and no trace of an English or Irish bar! Reading some reviews of here make me wonder why people go 'off piste' when abroad. The staff were fine, bkfst was what the locals...

This has been a favourite hotel for us for some time. It is just on the edge of all the amenities if you want them - but far enough away to remain typically Spanish. It is ideally placed with a couple of nice bars and restaurants on it's doorstep. And, of course you have all the coast to visit by...

Found my Hotel via a bus journey from beautiful Nerja, the Hotel checked me in at 10.45am, fantastic! The rather pleasant large man at the hotel desk was extremely helpful with all my needs especially bus times and beach recommendations, thank you! The room was amazing for a cheap and cheerful price for July, but then being on a busy...

Hotel El Paraiso is on the main road through La Caleta de Vélez but the rooms at the back have small balconies overlooking the marina and with sea views. Our room was very quiet although the furniture and the paintwork were very tired. The bathroom was adequate but with rather a low level of lighting. There was ample on street...

We had a lovely room overlooking the marina with all the facilities we needed including safe, airconditioning and free wifi. The bedding and towels were changed regularly.We...
