We were looking for a hotel to spend 3 nights recuperating after a week hiking in Val de Nuria and the Hostal de la Plaça turned out to be one of our best finds of this year. Luck and a well set up GPS was essential to find it! Our really charming & spacious room (no 5) up on the...

Ive visited this place twice in the last month. Overall I can recomend this place, although there are some issues the restaurant should improve: Cons: - Service can be improved. Nobody said anything to us when we were looking for the terrace on the top floor. We met 2 or 3 waiters and they didnt say Hello or Welcome. Waiters...

The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated with individual pieces and so differed from one another. They were put together so well and felt so welcoming, peaceful and calming. Air Conditioning in every room was put on before arrival so that you arrived to a comfortable temperature. The toiletries in the bathroom also went above and beyond with toothbrushes, razors,...

It's not for nothing that the restaurant is already at its fourth generation, the food is delicious, the place is super cozy and the staff is lovely! If you get to go, definely order the lamb, it is DELICIOUS! One of the best restaurants we've been on our trip!

Hostal de la Plaça is placed in a tipical Maresme coast village, but in the mountain at 5 minutes of the beach. Good catalan cuisine in an intimate place. I cannot tel, you about rooms because I only be there for a dinner.

Amazing hidden gem on gentle hills above Mediterranean. Both rooms and restaurant are top notch. Locals are queueing for meals and breakfast is one to remember. Great view of the sea, just 3 kms far. Barcelona is merely 20 minutes by car.

We were in Cabrils for a wedding and stayed there with some friends. Cabrils is a nice little village that overviews the sea shore. There is not much to do there except a dozen of gastronomic restaurants. Hostel de la placa has a very good restaurant. But the best of the hotel is the staff. With no exception, they are...

Located in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean, Hostal de la Placa is what Catalunta is all about. The hotel reflects the character of the region bringing engaged, knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient staff to an historic and family run residence with the customer as the focus in a relaxed environment. The food in the restaurant is simply outstanding and the views...

“Cabrils has more to offer than simply this hostal and is well worth the visit. The area has other fine restaurants making it something of a gastronomic enclave not far from the coast. Potential guests should keep in mind that this is a building that is hundreds of years old and therefore has a number of peculiarities (due to its age). But the environment is clean and tidy and contains lots of memorabilia that helps puts it all in context.”
