Liked - The villa is very nice and the pool area is definitely the highlight - it’s a large pool with jets and very welcoming. Iluh is an amazing host and nothing was ever too difficult - she was so lovely and accomodating. There are 2 good local restaurants in the area that were within 5-10 minutes walk of the villa that we frequented at often. Iluh also provides delivery with a local restaurant that you can order through her. Breakfast is delivered daily by Iluh and it’s very nice - a selection of eggs (fried, scrambled, omelette) or pancakes or french toast and a big bowl of cut fruit and coffee and/or juice. There are quite a few lovely adopted dogs at the villa who do bark when you arrive and leave but they are harmless (just in case you are scared of dogs!) The villa is located about 10 minutes drive from town so you will need to get a taxi into town as the walk is very long - however if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle it’s great and very quiet. You can get delivery from local restaurants using the app gojek but be aware the villa is hard to find so they may have difficulty. Disliked - It’s very tucked away and difficult to find from the street - even our driver couldn’t find it and had to ask the people next door. There is no shade after the morning so an umbrella for the pool area would be very handy. The area is mostly private but there is one section of the pool that is very open and you need to be conscious of locals. The kitchen is a bit grubby and we didn’t actually end up using it at all. Also the air conditioner in the kitchen area didn’t work well so we spent no time in the dining area. The blinds are very thin so bring an eye mask as we were waking up at 6-7am most mornings. There is no shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided.
