Seres was the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. We had a pool access room and the pool and views were amazing. It was very quiet when we stayed which we liked. The lobby staff would arrange taxis for us whenever needed, even when we were out at 1am and asked to be picked up from Ubud centre they arranged it for us ASAP via WhatsApp. The hotel is only a 15 minute drive from the centre and we were able to get wherever we wanted to go with no issues. Room service is great and the room was exceptional with an amazing shower. We can’t wait to come back next year, this will be our go to hotel whenever we visit Ubud.

We stayed here with our young son for 10 days in October and what an experience it was! The hotel is absolutely brilliant! The design and surroundings of the Ubud jungle, the food in the restaurant was a mixture of authentic with a few home comforts, fresh juice from local fruits and evening entertainment provided.

The infinity swimming pools on the main terrace have incredible views over the valley and the natural spring pool next to the river has great ambience. We booked a room with a private pool and this was 100% an option we were so glad we went for. It’s worth the money to be able to wake up, roll into your private pool for a swim with a jungle backdrop, or enjoy a beer in the pool after dark.

Service charges are very reasonable also and every member of staff were very friendly and polite.

Two members of staff we would like to thank and praise so much are Ria and Made in the restaurant. They entertained our son everyday and were excellent with him - bringing him snacks and drinks, showing him the fresh fruit and generally being very child friendly every day when mum and dad needed a break! Thank you!

Our top tip if you’ve never been to Bali - download ‘Grab’ app onto your phone. You can order local food delivered to the hotel for next to nothing. There is nothing wrong with the hotel food at all, but it’s nice to be able to try other food outlets without having to walk in the jungle heat to get them!

Thank you SereS Springs! We would love to come back in the future!!

SereS Springs made our trip amazing! The entire staff we so friendly and helpful. They make you feel like your at home with their warm welcome 🙏🏻

The pool villa suites are absolutely beautiful with L-shapes pool overlooking the river surrounded by thick green jungle and rice terraces. The bathroom was huge and the Canopy bed was so comfortable. High ceilings and very spacious.

The breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from.

This resort is designed like no other resort we stayed at in Ubud. It’s so unique and breathtaking at every turn.

Best Staff ❤️❤️❤️

I stayed here with my niece recently. We are from the US. The hotel is extremely fancy and nice. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The service is wonderful. The pool area is great. But just know that everything here costs extra. The breakfast buffet runs 320k IDR per person and isn’t included (which is 4-6 times the going rate for a very nice breakfast elsewhere in Bali). The shuttle from the hotel to the airport (a 1 hour ride) runs 360k IDR and isn’t included (taking a metered taxi would cost about 100k IDR but the hotel won’t allow metered taxis near the resort and instead force you to use their more expensive driver service). The room was very small, with mildew in the bathroom, and barely enough floor space to fit a suitcase. The hotel is Chinese in decor, style, music, and food- not Indonesian. Overall the resort is very nice, and I would recommend it for those looking for total luxury escape away from everything else, but I would not recommend it for eco-friendly tourists wanting to truly experience and explore Bali.

Dear Sarah T, Thank you for choosing our Resort during your recent holiday in Ubud. I am very pleased to hear that you were well taken care of by our team and you had enjoyed our hospitality. Please allow to clarify on few things that you had mentioned. 1. Breakfast buffet price is IDR 302,500 per person with a decent spread of food such as salad bar, assorted cold-cuts, assorted cheese (depending on occupancy), fresh milk, cereals, granola, selections of yogurt, assorted tropical fruits, assorted pastry and local sweats, assorted honey, bottled juice, healthy drinks, make your own fresh juice, waffles, pancakes and egg-puffs, porridge + condiments, assorted 7-8 items of hot food such as rice, noodle, vegetables, sausage, bacon. Beside buffet breakfast, we have selections of a la carte items for breakfast for guests who books room without breakfast and would prefer to eat light food may choose from. The price start from IDR 50,000 per item. 2. Indeed, the cost of airport drop is IDR 360,000 and a lot higher than the price of metered taxi or online transportation. In Ubud and greater area, metered taxi is not allowed by the local Government in order to maintain the local resource. If you notice, there are only 1 Starbucks in Ubud that owned by the Royal Family. The local authority has been restricting any international franchise in Ubud and greater area. KFC, McDonald, Pizza Hut are restricted! With regard to the local transportation that considered high in price, we work with the local community to offer value add such as bottled mineral water, snacks (cookies, candies, peanuts etc), magazine, newspaper and Wifi. These amenities will not be found in the metered taxi as well as in the online transportation. And local transport will work exclusively for us, they will not find other source of business outside of the hotel’s guests, therefore they are available 24/7. 3. Thank you for your comment on the Chinese decoration in the Resort since we are respecting the Chinese Lunar New Year that took place on 25 January 2020. Normally, we will make some decoration highlighting other big days in a year such as Christmas, Eid Mubarak, Vesak Day, Seclusion Day and Independence Day. Again, I thank you for your comments and concern and I am glad to have the opportunity to explain more about it so that other travelers who would like to stay in Ubud area will have better understanding about us. Look forward to welcoming you back! With Best Regards, I Nyoman Prabawa General Manager

Seres is a hidden little gem tucked a short drive from ubud, about 20-30 minute drive. The grounds are very well kept and beautiful with a map to explain the different plants and sculptures. We stayed in a swim out room that was just steps away from the pool and a nice seating to keep you of the rain if a short shower happened. The room was very clean and fresh towels and linens daily. The housekeeping was very attentive and arrived in just minutes of phoning for any issues. The restaurant staff was always friendly, our waitress palentina was very nice and welcoming. Definitely would recommend at a good price point.

Hotel was okay, rooms are clean enough although you'll find many insects crawling in the bathroom and floating in the pool. The breakfast was okay, the floating breakfast was slightly underwhelming (hence why it's probably free).

Tried to make a booking at the spa via telephone however they never answered nor called back - I had to go to the spa myself to speak to someone. Booked a mani-pedi at the spa and was told at the appointment that they had no nail polish so I had to get my own!

No shuttle service so you're better off renting a motorcycle or booking online motorcycles. Getting local taxis can be costly and you'll be stuck in Ubud traffic all day so not worth the extra cash you're spending - rent a scooter or book online ones via Gojek/grab. Don't let the taxi mafia fool you, online scooters are allowed to pick up/drop off in the tourist areas!

Nevertheless, front desk staff were kind and helpful.

Its no where near a 5 star hotel more like a 3 star.

The furniture is worn out and there are stains everywhere

The location of the hotel is not convenient at all to the point that you cant even fonout for a walk.

And they try to force you to take their own driver stating that they are trying to financially support the drivers. And charge you 80k just for 10 min ride.

The breakfast selection is very limited ! And the pools don't have heating.

However, the staff are very friendly.

A little slice of Heaven is what we experienced at our recent stay at Seres Spring Resort and Spa this past week. We stayed in a lusciously large and beautiful villa with our own pool. The resort is beautifully appointed with amazing detail to local architecture elements, coupled with providing every necessity needed from overlarge bath towels, same day laundry delivered in a beautiful wicker basket, access to a gym with views of rice paddies and rooftops (floor to ceiling widows). incredible service, elaborate breakfast buffet with many choices and that spa - wow, the best massages that you just don't want to end! Seriously such a treat and at amazing prices for our stay, treatments, food, etc. We definitely recommend and will return.

We stayed here from Dec 15 to 21, 2019. The hotel appearance is very good, clean, close to the places we wanted to visit; the hotel staff simply one of the best I've experienced so far. Transportation is always available and on time. The front desk is always very willing to assist the customers. Delicious foods available in their restaurant. Simply one of the best hotels out there. Hoping to come back again someday.

Thank you for your questions and we apologize for delay response since we just opened for business in May 2022. Below are the answers according to your questions 1. About 5 Kilometres 2. About 30 - 40 minutes walking but not recommended due to no pedestrian available on the way. 3. At this stage, we don't provide any shuttle. However, local transportation is available with reasonable shuttle service fee to Ubud Town Centre. 4. Yes, we have roll-away bed 5. Yes, our resort and rooms are airconditioned 6. Mosquito is always around at all times since we are closed to nature. But we have taken a preventive action. 7. We have limited choice of vegetarian, and no vegan menu. It is not included in the room tariff. 8. August is normally high season in Bali, but not during this recovery stage. We have special offer on our website. 4.

What rooms are best for view of mt agung volcano and canyon view it from pool
Answer from KEITH H

Sorry, not sure as we only visited Ths Seres for dinner and to use the pool, as we were staying at their sister hotel, the Sens Hotel in Ubud Town centre. We don't think you can see Mount Agung from the pool. However, we were able to view Mount Agung Volcano and surrounding countryside from the terrace on the upper floor, just below the restaurant. Maybe, if you e-mailed the hotel they could advise as to which rooms overlook Mount Agung. Good luck !

Sutera Garden Villa is located in the higher level just right below our infinity pools of the hotel rooms' building. Whereas Ananda Villas are two-storey villas which are located in the lowest level of our Resort along the Wos River frontage and close by the sacred natural springs pond. Ananda lower Villas are less popular for European where the private pools are pretty much in shade while the upper one has more sun. The Resort is facing East where from the balcony of all rooms in the hotel's main building you will enjoy rice paddy fields as well as the Sacred Mount Agung from distance. Hope that the explanation answers your queries. With Best Regards,
