My 8 year old nephew and I spent 4 amazing days with the Trono family at Bontoc @ Batangas. We loved EVERY bit of it. And i mean EVERY BIT. From the time we corresponded with Abby to the moment we said goodbye with hugs, Abby, her family and team of staff were professional, warm, caring that we cannot wait...

I stayed here on the 9th Sept with the intention of just literally sleeping somewhere simple, and leaving at 4am to climb Mt Gulugod Baboy, then drive to Tagaytay the next day. Romy, Ann, Daniel and Reef Shark completely shifted my entire weekend for the better, eventually persuading me to stay drinking rum and coke, singing karaoke and playing guitar...

It's a different experience because of the great food, welcoming hosts/family and personalized service. View is also wonderful and relaxing. Thank you for the great and fun time. It's a taste of the mountain life by the sea. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for nearly four weeks with a couple of colleagues working on a project in the area, it is a family run business; by Romy and his Wife Anne, Abby and her husband Jorge and two lovely children, and other members of the family and staff. Our great service started from the personal pickup from the airport by...

This is a family-owned business and their attention to the comfort and satisfaction of the guests in terms of service and entertainment cannot be faulted. A flat rate of 3,000/pax/night already includes accommodation (fan or non-aircon), all meals (buffet) and rhum and coke during happy hour! And it is absolutely worth it! The food is great and eating them while...

This is a family home operated as an inn by the Trono family. Our family stayed there for 3 days while my sister and I trained for our PADI certs which Bontoc Seaview also arranged for us. Our dive instructor is also a close relative of the Trono's. Overall, this place did not disappoint. Our rooms were adequate and cosy....

My beautiful Filipina wife, who comes from this resort’s immediate area in Anilao, insisted that we stay at the Bontoc Sea View Guest House, also known as the Bontoc in Batangas Bed & Breakfast, and she couldn’t have been wiser! I’ve traveled around the world and lived in Asia, but I’ve never encountered a vacation resort as special as this....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Bontoc Seaview Guesthouse! We guarantee a travel and "staycation" experience you will rave about for a long, long time. Quaint and rustic, and always clean, the place is owned and operated by us, Romy and Anne Trono, and our three children. Our rooms blend with the overall character of our Guesthouse showcasing designs and colors from the Cordilleras. Most rooms are adorned with our collection of curios, souvenir items from our travels and amazingly colorful curtains made of beads that were creatively, patiently, and lovingly strung by Anne. Our food is a well contemplated fusion of dishes with twists of western, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Southeast Asian offerings served alongside typical dishes from Bontoc, Mountain Province in northern Philippines and spicy delicacies from Bicol Province in Southern Luzon. Definitely a unique, rare, and unbelievable gastronomic experience that will keep you coming back to our buffet table! All of our ingredients are freshly purchased, skillfully prepared and beautifully presented by our two Master chefs, a mother-and-daughter kitchen duo who have years of experience under their belts. If you have no any experience in SCUBA diving, yet, we encourage you to avail of our "Discover Scuba Diving" Introductory Dive. You may also enroll in one or more PADI diving courses with us. Come and visit our Guesthouse and experience your own Ridge to Reef adventure! ... more   less
