I /we visited this pub on numerous occasions while on holiday in village. The beer was so good and the staff really looked after you. It was nice to see dogs allowed into the venue ( and a doggy treat given!) to all mutts!. We ate in the pub on one occasion and I can honestly say the food was...

Have spent 4 nights at the New Inn. A great place to stay and eat. My room was very clean, tidy and with nice clean towels and bedding. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. A great breakfast with a good choice, you can even have a 'bacon sarnie' if you want. Evening food is just as...

We have eaten at the new inn quite a few times but we have not stayed overnight the food has always been good and the staff very friendly. I do however think they need to change the menu as its been the same for the past year.

We dropped in to this lovely pub on our way home from Scarborough and was very glad we did. We recieved a very friendly welcome and we're shown to our table for six. The menu was very good and varied and covered all our tastes. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend this inn.

We had a lovely visit to this delightful inn . The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because the shower cubicle had some black marks on the grouting . This didn't spoil anything for us but might bother others . The bathroom was clean , well stocked with shower gel etc . Lots of tea, coffee and a...

They also had plenty of different flavoured ice creams for desert and the baileys cheesecake is a must have. Would highly recommend a...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. We had the steak deal on our first night, 2 sirloin steaks with all the trimmings for £30. The steak was cooked just as we asked and the chips were lovely. There was a good choice for breakfast, all tastes catered for. The owners and staff were very friendly and nothing was...

I booked a table in the New Inn restaurant for Sunday dinner. My son, who is flying to Canada tomorrow, joined me. We both ordered roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and waited with expectation. The meal arrived with roast potatoes and a large Yorkshire pudding, with the vegetables served on two separate platters. A jug of gravy was also brought...
