We were allotted Room 203 - a four-bedded room (we were a party of five friends) with a magnificent view of the sea. The room was no-nonsense and apparently clean. Cleaning is a big issue and we were unable to get our washroom cleaned despite staying for two nights. A couple of cockroaches made a guest appearance on our first night and we were unable to have the dead bodies cleaned till the next evening. The restaurant is so-so. Service is good but be prepared to be served leftovers from the previous meal, refrigerated and reheated. The hotel has its own entrance to the beach - somewhat rocky but quite approachable. There is a nice deck where you can enjoy the evening with friends and Buds (yes that's allowed and the staff will shop for you if required). Appropriate place to stay at if you're visiting with friends and intend to have fun. Not at all recommended if you're travelling with family.…
Room and toilet are not clean. Staffs are not trained. Garden is very poorly maintained. Foods are not good and hygienic, twice they served me cold tea. And above all the place is very noisy and poorly managed.
Unmaintained room. Very poor room. Not a professional staff. Overall a bad experience. Complementary breakfast is very bad. This hotel like a one star hotel. We r visit 26-27 april but very bad experience.
Spacy air conditioned rooms. Got sea facing rooms on request. The Mandarmani beach point is just 700 metres if you walk on the beach. The hotel is on the beach. I booked via Expedia.com. One can sit in the cozy huts and enjoy the waves.
Travelled with family and booked one 4 seater and one double deluxe. Prices were really high for the amenities like once in 3 days room cleaning and cockroach strolling in the room. Rooms were facing the sea and the experience is really what you take back. Food is of limited choices, taste alright and slightly pricy. Overall agree with earlier reviewers: this place definitely needs overhaul and best visited if no other place is available
Nothing fascinated me about this hotel except for the brilliant beach view, which again most of the hotels in Mandarmani would offer. The rooms were old, and lack of cleanliness was evident with sweeps and mops placed openly throughout the corridor. There is no management and reception was always vacant, no phone in the hotel room to connect with reception. There is a bell in every room but no one responds to it, so if you need something you would have to walk down, look for some 4 local people strolling outside, who apparently are the management. Now lets come to food - I wonder if they actually realize they are in the hotel industry, the restaurant is very shabby, and absolutely not recommended for vegetarians folks unless you relish traditional Bengali vegetarian food. They serve filtered water in pre-used 2-liter Bisleri bottles, so please be careful, better to get your own water bottle. I had asked the staff to get me sealed bisleri bottles and they charged me differently for 2 bottles, which leaves me wondering if the water given to me was genuine. This place could have done a lot better considering the brilliant picturesque view and a beautiful terrace it has to offer.…
Beside its usual beach side location, I didn't found anything that calls 'satisfactory'. The resort is very much missing of a proper management, co-ordinators. Staff are willing to help, but almost all of them lack of idea how to do things in a hotel business. You can look the lack-ness to every level in staff there. There is also lack of a 'head' presence who can co-ordinate things which should requires to do and do-not. Almost everyone just doing their day duties without any proper guidance/practices. My room was a deluxe-double. The room was old, lack of maintenance were visible, but anyway it's Okay (for a/two days' trip). Bedsheet, towels etc. all had clear mark of not-cleanliness - even changed items were also not satisfactory at all. Restaurant was -- well, let's skip that subject. On an all, I would recommend skip it - unless you have no other options.…
Arya Beach Resort was a choice I made after a recommendation from my friend. I can confidently say that the hotel did not disappoint me at all. The rooms were good and spacious. The view from the room was excellent. It is one of the budget hotels situated near sea side.
We went for the weekend with family, a place to cherish because of the view. They have balconies with every room overlooking the sea, which touches the foot of the Hotel during High tides. A lush green garden with Children rides, were a bonus for the kids, as they enjoyed thoroughly. Food was amazing, they even cooked Prawns fetched from the local market on request.
I was at Arya Beach resort with my friends for a weekend outing. We stayed on the first floor in a 4 bed room with an awesome sea view from the window and balcony itself. Nice place to chill out. You dont even need to go till the beach, u can have a vivid sea view from your room itself. The Food quality was very very good, But i felt it a bit over priced. U can try for the hotels outside for food.
