Pathetic to say the least. Rooms were dirty. Linens were stinky. ACs were not working well, beside that they will turn off AC for 6hours a day to decrease the load on DG. Food and service were horrible. Staffs were ill mannered. Only pro was the location.

I booked Samrat holiday Inn for it's pet friendly policy and good rating. Had to cut short my trip by a day eventually. Rooms encroaching sea, small and cringy,1 service boy, bad food.staff was caring. I got a shock of my life on seeing the location of the hotel. It's far off, seems illegal and shady, unsuitable for family trips. One small rickety kitchen serves limited food options. Entire hotel has one service boy and a manager who doubles up as service boy. They don't stock beer or alchohol and one has to fetch for himself. Price wise, it's not even worth Rs 1000 vs. their tariff of 3500. The service boy, Sachin, was hardly 12-13 yrs of age and was willing to make you happy with whatever limited resources. Manager was perennially apologetic😃. Overall 'Avoidable'. Many better options available…

The hotel is situated on the sea beach and is very pleasant. The rooms are good with windows that gives a great view of sea. Staff's are good n polite. The road to the entrance of the hotel is very narrow, otherwise the place is very calm n is recommended for both family n friends.

Pros: This is on the sea beach.Just step out from your cottage and see the sea. From the bank can see the Sea and enjoy the sea shore. Cons: Food is terrible. There are no tase at all. Sevice is worst.You have to call the manager every time for anything to order. Its 14-15 km from Chaulkhola bus stand. Option available : Auto/Toto (approx 200INR) , Private car (350 - 400 INR) Hotel also arranges for you. Be in mind, the nearest hotel/shop is too far so before you go collect dry foods and other items.

The hotel location is nice and calm with awesome views right from the balcony of the room. Loved the experience.Nice hotel to enjoy your weekend. The rates are reasonable and offer value for money. Look forward to visit the place again.

Location is nice. Ambiance is awesome.One very good selling point of the hotel is it's close proximity to the beach. Just a 1-min walk is required.Food is also good in terms of quality, wide options .

The best thing about the hotel was its food quality and room service.The rooms are having amenities that includes Free WiFi, Television, Wardrobe,AC and many more.The bathrooms were regularly cleaned and have all basic toiletries.

Great choice for a cheap non-AC room... amazing views of the sea....Value for Money...u have a great time! If taking an AC room...beware! The price is exhorbitant in comparison to many of the amazing deals u can get online for the best hotels...its not worth the money. However the real issue lies in attitude and 'small thinking' - I remember the pathetic experience I had - so many times at night and during the day AC was shut down... there is no intercom so one has to go out looking around in the resort for the staff who say 'we shall NOW look into it' and on magic after some time AC will come back - its a very cheap attitude to save fuel on generator. They cry like beggars for a late checkout though we had checked in after midnight...the reason is AC! The attitude is simply too cheap to be in hospitality business! Abt the food...its amazing..but be prepared to wait for upto an hour or 1.5 hours...and be prepared to find them in the kitchen and ask them the status ten times! But like i said...amazing VFM choice for non-AC stay....…

In my opinion Mandarmoni is a nice place for young people; not a place to visit with family. About the hotel Samrat holiday Inn, I stayed there for one day and my experience was really great. In terms of food, service, location the hotel is perfect. 5 star for hotel Samrat :)

Value for money, excellent service, rooms are good. Food is the USP, delicious food which enhances your tastebuds. In addition, nice and cool new year celebration organised. Do taste 'Dal', it's yummylicious.
