It is around 320 kms away from Noida, up on a hill. surrounded by beautiful mountains. very spacious and comfortable room with awesome view. we traveled in February and the weather was very comfortable. Courteous Staff and very helpful front desk. Hotel can do better in Food though and bathroom experience can be improved. all in all, love the stay and will be heading back again. Big Thanks for the hotel staff to make my son's birthday special.
The fort nalagarh gives experience of staying in old havelis. Spooky at night in rooms but very warm, cozy rest of the day. Staff is courteous but they have expectations of tips so do give them like we did for every time they are called for any services, be it luggage or room service or anything. Apt for a one night stay although they are pricey compared to getting a hotel room in a good hotel. Overall experience was fine as we were a large group of family. They close by 11 in night so even if we wanted to keep sitting by the fire that we asked for, we were asked to wind up by 11.30pm. Can recommend for one night stay but not more than that. Food is good and staff is very courteous.
The hotel is located at a good location. One will have good view of city in night and the view is really mesmerising. The hotel is in in old fort but not well maintained. Hygiene was an issue in rooms. The bedding and linens were not very clean. Even the floor was not properly mopped and overall hygiene was even less than a 2 star hotel. Even the area in front of reception was full of bird droppings. The good part of hotel were services of staff. The reception was efficient and courteous. Right from check in to check out everything were smooth. The food items at restaurant were limited in choice but were really tasty. Waiters at restaurant and bar were nice.
It is top of the hill and you can see the entire town below. The view is totally amazing. It is an ideal vacation for chillout. Recreation facility like badminton, cricket swimming in addition to a royal.Good place for the short trips
Wanted to have a escape after returning from official engagement somewhere near to chandigarh with wife and kid . Selected Nalagarh as it was near and from pictures seems like it had plenty open area and swimming pool (my one year old loves water). The place matched my requirement completely. The place was quite and one could relax peacefully here . During Day time headed to Ramsheher which is also a resort . Ramsheher should be a must see if u are in nalagarh area. The staff at nalagarh were so friendly and courteous. Even though they don't serve food in rooms there buffet spread is quite good and food cooked is very good . will strongly recommend if somebody is jus planning to escape the city and relax should head to Fort . Thanks !!!
