Also we have 04 bunk beds as well for SOLO Travellers. Restaurant is on the Ground floor serving Indian / Chinese food. Hotel is 200 meter from the local market and 50 meter from the parking area. ( Parking is shared parking and not private parking).

Great views. Great food. Nice behaviour of staffs. Best place to enjoy snowfall and apple orchards. But they should provide free accommodation for driver bcaz it's get very cold at night and they are already 2.5 k per night for rooms. Please collect all your necessary things from recong peo before because kalpa is a village. So you won't be getting some stuffs during your stay.

Do not think twice before booking this property on your Kinnaur or Spiti trips. They have cosy rooms with the most essential amenities such as electric mattress and provide heaters on request which is a must especially in freezing winters.

In our Kinnaur and Spiti trip this was the most expensive, and like the others, included breakfast and dinner. Except for the view which, as promised, was of the Kinner Kailash, nothing else matched up to our expectations. 1. The toilet seat was not attached to the bowl, it was balanced on the bowl. 2. The health faucet had to be operated from the main knob or else it leaked copiously. 3. Similarly the hot water tap on the wash basin had to be turned on and off from below for the same reason. 4. A second towel, toilet roll etc were provided only after requesting for it. 5. The food was basic, and according to our driver the kitchen was very unhygienic. 6. The manager had a rejoinder for each request/complaint where a simple apology would have tipped the scales in his favour. His ridiculous solution for the bathroom issue was that we (two senior ladies) should use the bathroom in the adjoining room. 7. When I requested for breakfast to be ready by 7:30 am since we wished to depart at 8 am I was told the kitchen opened only at 8. The excuse was that the staff sleep late so they cannot get up early. After asking for an adjustment of the breakfast charge against our bill so we could check out as per our schedule they reluctantly agreed to serve breakfast at 7:40 am as the adjustment was not possible. 8. Please do not get fooled by the impression that the premium room (that we had booked) has wood panelling on the walls, it is an ordinary laminate. The balcony furniture, a cheap faded, plastic table and two plastic chairs give a shabby impression. Here I should mention that Akshay, the young man who did most of the running around was pleasant and eager to please. The manager, on the other hand, claimed to have a 4 year Hotel Management Degree, but was totally unsuited to his job. All that being said, the mattress and thus our sleep was comfortable. Waking up to the view makes one almost forget the annoyances. A little focus on these maintenance aspects will make Kalpa Deshang worth the prices they charge.

It is not a hotel...guest house will be better than this hotel. No sops, shampoo in the bathroom. No tv, no intercom phone, no bottled water in the room. Only one person available for room service that is too upto 10 pm. Charges recoverd for extra bed, but only mattress was given. Even rooms do not have lock and key, when asked for the same, it has been provided after half an hour. Poor experience. Please do not book at even free of cost.

We had an Executive Room with a balcony on the 2nd floor. The view of Kinnaur Kailash is amazing and we enjoyed a beautiful evening looking at it.
The room was large and an extra bed fit easily which the staff brought in, and also carried up our bags up the stairs.
Bathroom is basic but everything works.
Dinner and breakfast were very good…and we enjoyed our meals.
Overall it’s a good spot but we had one issue as a loud group checked in the same evening and shattered the serenity of the place…but the hotel can’t be blamed for that.
I would recommend staying here.

Excellent place to stay. It has a beautiful view of kinner kailash mountain and service was also very good. Host was also very cooperative and helpful, even the food served here is so yummy. The electric blankets really help to withstand the temperature below 0°.

The hotel had excellent room, food and service. Abhishek and Prikshith with ensure that you have an excellent stay at this place, and also assist in local sightseeing or hiking or other activities. The owner of the property, Mr GL Negi is also a very pleasant and helpful person to speak to during the stay, and has incredible knowledge and experience about the area and people. The place also has extremely well kept and clean rooms and bathrooms and great food and to top it all of the balconies offer fantastic views of the kinnaaur Kailash range which was the best part about the property.

During our stay the climate changed to really bad. It was too cold and windy and started snowing the other day .. thats the reason we could not leave the hotel so the staff arranged everything in our room because it was too cold outside! We had a child with us. They had bed heaters and also provided a room heater on extra charge.
