Very nice chambre d'hote in a large house, almost entirely open for the guests. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Large garden with nice swimming pool. (a bit shallow, so not for divers)

At the Eloi Merle for a friend's wedding in Olonzac: the hotel is charming, clean, well cared for and very good value for money. We had a large comfortable room at the rear of the main house, with a small shower room -- other rooms are also spacious, and each one different. The hotel also has a small number of...

We stayed here one night and the war m welcome more than made up for the slighlty run down nature of the old mansion. The rooms are huge, with a couch and chairs, and a kettle and selection of tea and other hot drinks. The owner is lovely - very helpful, friendly and warm. The grounds of the mansion are...

We got a gíte which is a little different. Really good place though. Nothing too fancy but ticks the boxes for what you pay. The owner Béné is really nice & helpful. Only complaint is it was a bit warm at night and I had trouble sleeping. Leave the windows open and the shutters closed and things improve. The pool...

We just finished a week's stay in one of the "gites" at Eloi Merle, and it was the highlight of our trip to France. The main house itself is lovely with charmingly eclectic furnishings, but for our needs the gite was even better. Nothing too high end, but extremely comfortable, roomy, and clean with sufficient kitchen appliances, supplies, etc. that...

Just spent 2 weeks in the gite part of this hotel. They are excellent. Comfortable rather than luxurious, but everything you need. Very roomy. They are just for 2 adults and the hotel attracts very few children, so it is all very peaceful. Bene is so friendly and helpful. Grounds/garden are lovely and offer opportunity for a game of petanque...

This is the second year we have stayed in one of the 5 gites (for couples only) at Eloi Merle and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Bene and Freddy , the owners, could not be more welcoming or helpful. The pool and gardens are wonderful. It is a joy to have a cleaner - Gloria - once a week...

Myself and Partner were visiting The Languedoc on a house hunting trip and stayed at Maison Eloi Merle in Olonzac for two nights. What a total pleasure it was ! This house is 300 years old with a stunning staircase and entrance hallway. Bedrooms are large and true to type French decor. Spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast...
