I stayed three nights at this very nice hostel, which is about 20 minutes walk from the main plaza in Salento, with wonderful views of the hills and valleys all around. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm, they have comfortable bunk beds, decent sized lockers and all rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, but could do with some space for...

Stayed in the separate "Las Camelias" property, a few hundred metres up the road from the main building. It has absolutely stunning 180 degree views of the valley and mountains surrounding Salento. Breakfast at the main house was the best we had in Colombia. Yes, you have to pay for extras, but the fruit smoothies made with homemade yogurt are...

Just a 20 min walk outside of Salento (5 min by taxi) with spectacular views of the valley below is the wonderful La Serrana Hostal. It has excellent facilities, a fully equipped kitchen (minus oven), though lids for the pots can be a bit of a challenge. Things like salt, pepper, and oil can be found in the "pantry" or...

Great place to stay outside of the main town and a good base to explore the coffee farms. The views are beautiful and the rooms are spacious. Only cons are the awkward position of the power points, rock hard mattress ( I swapped beds for a softer one) and the communal areas do lack atmosphere. We had a dinner there...

We had a brilliant few days staying in the Las Camelias lodge which is part of La Serrana. It was an awesome house with spacious living area which was glass fronted on to the spectacular view of the green rolling hills and mountains. Having a log fire in the evenings here was really special :) The staff were friendly and...

Stayed here for three nights in a 6 person dorm. La Serrana is about a 20 minute walk from town or $6000 COP jeep ride, perfectly located on a hill, overlooking the country side. The breakfast in the hall that was included was basic, however you can add extras if wanted for a small price. You can also buy dinner...

This hostel is amazing and not just for the views, but mostly....for the views!! There are great facilities, perfectly functioning bathrooms, with the added bonus of approximately 1-2 minutes of hot high pressure water if your lucky!! we stayed both in one of the tents outside - which displayed fantastic views of the valley, although you may need a hot...

What to say about this place? you get to stay in a relaxed and beautiful environment, with a great view of the nature and yet very close to the town center. It is also on the way to visit the Fincas (coffee) so just perfect location. In addition the staff is very friendly and helpful, giving as many tips and...

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. First, the views of the valley are impeccable. The private rooms (located a short walk from the main building) are spacious and beautifully furnished. The dorms and "glamping" also seemed great. The folks who run the hostel are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. And...
