We had a one night stay at Echor Narkanda. Upon arrival, the first challenge we faced was that the entrance to this property. What they do not mention is that the parking and the entrance are separated and the entrance is a steep walk down. The rooms are spacious, however not that neatly kept. The food and service was really good. The rooms shown in pictures do not match in reality competely. They helped us with a room heater. Also all F&B srevice is in the room itself as there is no common dining sace at the property.
Good location with excellent service .Would like to compliment Manager Mr Sompal and staff Rajinder Mann and the chef For the lovely food..it’s a nice stopover for people going to narkanda snow point and also for travel ahead to the kinnaur villages of Kalpa chitkul sangla ….
The place online and offline didn’t feel the same. Not interested staff, dirty room, leaking roof. The location is quaint and nice so we stayed but shouldn’t have. Food was terrible. We were heading to Spiti Valley and this was our first stop. I booked it on booking.com total waste of money. The location was ok but at least clean sheets and running water should not be a compromise. I used my sleeping bag to sleep. Very dirty and not interested staff. Not worth what they are charging.
After working from home for almost 6 months, we decided to do a week away and this place turned out to be economical for a week long stay. The property is located right on the highway yet there is a calm and soothing aura about it. We were "working from hills" and the entire staff here made it so comfortable by sending us hot coffee and amazing food whenever we asked for it! Ashokji, the cook can make anything you are in mood for and everything we ate was delicious . The property is beautiful to say the least with a lot of greenery and a beautiful view from the balcony. Even the rooms are spacious and aesthetically done. While they do not have wifi, airtel network works just fine for all work related calls. We used our airtel mobile hotspot and a jio dongle between the two of us. The staff was also courteous enough to guide and assist us with adhering to border restrictions as well. This place has opened up after 5 months of shutdown and is definitely a must visit if you are looking for a relaxed stay or to even spend a week or two working from here!…
The perfect non-hotel No reception area, no wall clocks displaying various time-zones. In fact, one has to call from the parking area to have the staff come up and assist with the luggage Well appointed cottages nestling between apple trees, cherries and a variety of fruits and vegetables A freshly plucked apple brought every morning by the genial in - house chef Ashok was a treat, aside the home cooked style food prepared by him.. TulsiRam, the pleasant housekeeping staff would attend to every need, even walking upto a few kilometres to shop for us, much after sundown, without any complaint The alpine cottages made out of pine-wood interiors and peppered with warm lights made us feel snug and warm The bay windows overlooking the vast expanse made for a perfect sit-out for some sunshine and basking in it We are looking forward to visit again. It felt like a home away from home Cheers to the Echor Team!! …
Beautiful cottage on the highway around Narkanda. Very well maintained and tidy cottage. The staff is helpful, food is excellent and cottage room is spacious for even 4 people. Balcony gives a wonderful view of the green valley and your morning starts with the wakeup call of chirping birds.
We found this place perfect for our one day stay. The cottage was neat and tidy and the view was awesome. They have various outdoor activities and my 4 year old son was very happy playing in the lawn. The food was delicious. The bonfire experience was great too. Overall great hospitality and quality of service.
Echor is undoubtedly one of the beautifully located resorts/hotels around Narkanda. Right next to the highway and about 20 mins drive from the local town, it is conveniently nestled amid the verdant surroundings. To us however, it is the hospitality offered by the people running the place that made the difference. Rahul and Manoj have been immensely accommodating and helpful beyond all expectations. From attending to our emergencies with respect to inter-state travel to providing us with insightful tips about the region, overall experience at Echor and with the people have been amazing. Not to forget Tulsi ji, who was very sweet while attending to our housekeeping needs. Rooms are exactly the same as shown in the pics. View from balcony is awesome. Overall, beautiful experience.…
Location and ambience is nice at Echor Narkanda hotel. We sat by the fire, had few drinks and Punjabi song with bonfire !!! what a awesome combination !!Dance , music , masti !! wow awesome party night after such a long time. Rooms were spacious and as depicted in picture with wooden make. Balcony gives wonderful reason to wake up early and enjoy the sun rise with birds chirping in there so called "Majnu tree". Food was fresh cooked and tasty. Serving staff is also courteous. Overall a nice experience. Best "hotel in narkanda" , that way i summarize.
We were travelling during our anniversary, and when we checked in this property we decided to spend some days there and relax. It is a beautiful wooden interior property, with a mesmerizing view from the bedrooms. The staff was very humble, the place is neat and tidy. Though, it's opened in Feb only, these guys are gaining attention like anything. They are getting popular around in Narkanda. Great work guys.!!
