We stayed for two nights and the experience was fantastic from the lunch on arrival to the cooking lesson on the second day were we learnt how to cook some amazing dishes which we then had for dinner accompanied by some addition from host and cookery teacher Faiza. The accomadtion is an old colonial house which is like a living...

We stayed a night only at this place although somewhat peaceful and idyllic in many ways the house was very old fashion and could do with a big facelift. The lady of the house was away which was a pity as I believe that her cuisine is famous but having said that the cook there was fantastic and the dinner...

A homestay is not a hotel and is much more than just somewhere to sleep. We had a fantastic time staying at Ayesha Manila and really benefitted from from the personal interaction we had from our hosts. We were warmly welcomed by Moosa and his wife Faiza who with their staff (especially Alan) ensured that we had opportunity to both...

We came here specifically to do a cookery course and so were disappointed to discover that Faiza was away at a family event. Apparently, Moosa had not be told by our travel company that we wanted to do a course so make sure you check first! We were given a demonstration, at no extra cost but a somewhat nervous chef...

Staying here is an experience that you need to (and should) embrace. As other reviews, I'm sure, have said - it's not a 5* hotel with all the mod cons. But that's not what it's all about. Staying with Mr Moosa, Faiza and their team is about getting an insight into cuisine of the highest possible standard and about exploring...

The old style building, large rooms, big bathrooms all add to make this a great location. The dinner was excellent and since we had another couple traveling with us, enough variety was provided in the food. Unfortunately, the three adults all developed a fairly bad reaction to the food which marred the otherwise pleasant stay.

From reviews I have read many people love this place. We were unfortunate to arrive just as a party official had been hacked to death close by resulting in a 24 hour total shut down which affected all of Kerala. So no market or cigarette factory visits but a good walk led by lovely but quiet guide (Alan?) around the...

The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, the bathrooms big and clean, the service excellent, the food was to die for, and the host and hostess were very attentive and wonderful people. My family and I had a fantastic time. The view was breathtaking.

After leaving a beautiful 5 star hotel, we did take a little while to adjust to Aisha Manzil!! Beautiful food and cookery class was so enjoyable. I did find the area to be very noisy and busy, not what we really wanted for our tour of India.
