We were looking for a last minute place to overnight in Kuruman on a trip back to Joburg. It had to offer a clean good value room with coffee and safe parking. Ideally away from the main road which is noisy all night and keeps one awake. We found it an hour before arriving.. Amaziah. On a road trip back... More

This a beautiful guest house en route... Lovely comfy beds, great breakfast, extremely clean. Orla a brilliant hostess... Nice swimming pool, lovely places to eat with in walking distance. It a must if stopping over in this area. This place will soon be number 1 ... Also the Wi-Fi works brilliant. I can not fault the place.

It is a long way from Johannesburg to Uppington and Nambibia. On your way you might pass Kuruman. Amaziah Guest house is a good choice for a pleasant an quiet night. It is situated in a quiet part of the town, yet the centre with restaurants and shops is near. Staff is very friendly and they do serve a good... More

I agree with the previous reviewer. We were en route from Namibia and saw the establishment on SafariNow. One can't generally go wrong with 4 starts can one? I really do not understand how these were awarded??? The manager is bossy and unprofessional. The main house had an awful smell. The office where we had to sign in was disgustingly... More

We stayed for one night and couldn't wait to leave. Initially it looks fine but when staying there it soon becomes apparent how soulless and depressing it is. We stayed in one of the self catering rooms across the road. Quite a large space but with a poorly equipped kitchen. Hot water only runs for 20 minutes at a time... More

Kuruman is half way on the Kalahari from Joburg. The room reserved for our family was very spacious and comfortable. Only minor issue, warn water took ages to start and ended after a while.

Amaziah Guesthouse is in a quiet area of Kuruman, SA and is easy to find. We had a very comfortable and large room with kitchen area and good-sized bathroom; there was secure parking and everything works! The owner/operator was pleasant.
