Detailed Reviews
If I could rate this place higher I would. Everything about it is incredible. Hosts, amazing. Facilities, immaculate. Sleeping pods, comfy. As soon as we arrived, we were given the warmest welcome, a beautiful tour of the grounds and then shown our sleeping arrangements 🤩🤩 far exceeded my expectations! The hosts, Grainne and Jim are so helpful. Safe to say, we REALLY enjoyed our stay. My favourite part of the evening was definitely The Wee Ceili House experience 🥰 Everything was perfect from start to finish. We were devastated when we had to leave and are already planning our next trip!

First impressions, we were blown away, such a peace, lovely place.
The owners are some of the best people we have ever met, this place wouldn't be half as good as it is without them.
There are four reasonable sized pods , I found it very comfortable. There is a little heater during the winter time and cosy blankets. There are communal showers and bathrooms. There is a kitchen , kettle, microwave if you chose to bring your own food.
This place is for adults only which is rare , so glad to be honest as it was a night away of relaxation.
You can book the hot tub if you wish and a basket of wood and marshmallows to enjoy around the fire pit.
There is also the shebeen were you can enjoy others company if you wish. Such a relaxing place, it does close at 11pm though.
I actually had a few games of pool which we enjoyed.
This is an eco friendly place, please take your rubbish back home with you.
But honestly once again Grainne and Jimmy Joe are wonderful hosts.
Love Mary and Aaron.

Its not often you come across a fabulous place like The Hideaway and when you do, you will treasure it forever. Hosts Grainne and jimbob are absolutely fabulous and so welcoming and cant do enough for you. The Shebeen and hot tub are fab and the gardens are amazing. Loved our cosy wee cabin and I have to say, the fairy path really touched me with its healing fairy energy. The wee ceili house is the icing on the cake for you dont have to go to bed and you sit having the craic wiht other guests and watching the flames dance and the shadows on the beautiful stone walls. Have already booked again with family and friends =. Dont miss this place :-)

Me and my girlfriend stayed last night at this beautiful spot. I’ve never seen anything like it, it is the nicest glamping place I’ve seen in Ireland. Grainne and Jim were lovely and so accommodating. With the jacuzzi, fire pit, the Shabeen, fairy garden and more there was loads to do and it was something different which I loved. There was so many creative elements and thought put into the design and architecture of the place which I can really appreciate. I would definitely come back, 10/10.

Wow what a find ! Been following the Facebook page for sometime but never had a reason to book when we visit Donegal . Last weekend the perfect excuse birthday parties and this amazing place does not disappoint .
From booking response from the host Grainne were quick and informative . Booking was simple online .
The drive down the lane to the large gates open was truly magical and the warm greeting from our hosts was full of energy and joy.
The passion that has been invested in creating the hideaway is obvious from the host to all the detail in the plants, trees, waterfalls, trinkets and amenities
Huts are cosy and comfortable with all that you need . Kitchen area is well equipped and the oven was made avilable as we where trusted not to set the fire alarm off .😃
The shabeen was warm and welcoming place to spend the evening relaxing playing pool and then onto the wee ceili house to a roaring fire and s’mores.
The ice bath (new that day) is a great addition to the wood fired hot tub and a wonderful way to relax . The whole site was spotless and natural I can only imagine when all the foliage comes into growth it will be even more magical
If you don’t believe I’m fairies you will when you have visited the fairy path and the healing tree all thoughtful and beautiful peace together to create a tranquil setting .
Well done to the hosts and thank you for sharing and making our birthday treat a amazing experience

The Hideaway is the perfect place to hide away. Everything about it is magical, from the gardens to the ceili house, the ancient fairy path to the Shebeen. The facilities are immaculate and the hosts Grainne and Jim are so welcoming and fun. I left a little piece of my heart there and also brought a little piece of The Hideaway home in happy memories after just one day into night. If you need somewhere to truly relax this is the place.

Place very nice quirky , clean , sleeping pods not very comfortable but warm , Hosts helpful but they were a bit like booking a hotel room and the manager comes and stays in the room with you 🤔 seating in snug seats very hard but great fire and been put out if a very comfortable room at 11 to go to snug can’t see the reason why ? Overall 7 out of 10
