Flycatcher Inn was a delight, with its immaculate, private bungalows in a garden setting. Our room was spacious, with both queen and twin-sized beds, and a hammock which could be hung either inside or out. Birds abound; a private patio allows guests to listen to the sounds of the jungle. Owners were friendly and helpful; Staff were welcoming. Breakfast was...

This is our second stay at Flycatcher and it was even better than the first! Not only are the rooms lovely, clean, set in a garden, and relatively inexpensive, they are now offering dinner at the Inn!! Margarita is a great cook, and we had the best sopa de lima we've ever had in many years of visiting Mexico. The...

First of all, the setting is wonderful. In the back of the inn there are nature trails which are great for birdwatching. We stayed in Hu'un room which is on the end with a private terrace on the side. So lovely to sit and read and soak in the beauty. Rosa, the manager, and the other staff are so friendly...

The grounds and rooms are beautify, the hotel staff very friendly. This place was very relaxing. I would have given 5 stars, but one of the rooms had no water pressure in the shower and the owner, James, who doesn't really seem to know much about the region--he only moved here six months ago-- is a little too chatty. Also,...

Cannot speak too positively about our two night stay at the Inn or the entire ruta puuc adventure. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Problem with difficult door lock, no problem, new lock installed instantly. Breakfast on patio delightful, timely and tasty. Quick and plentiful hot water, in the deep jungle, as each casita has its own boiler. On and on....

Room was clean and with good air conditioning, no boutique or fancy features. Staff were friendly and available at all times. Breakfast, wich was inlcuded, was very good. Is very convenient to travel around Puuc archaeological zone (Uxma, Kabah, Sayil, etc..)

Lovely cabanas spread among lush tropical vegetation, filled with exotic flowers and birds. Friendly and welcoming staff, under the very capable management of Rosa. Clean, neat, and lovely decor in the rooms. A nice breakfast is included (fruit plate and choice of egg dish, always with fresh, hand made corn tortillas). Reasonably priced dinner is optional, two choices (varies). One...

Lovely Inn in a gorgeous setting. This B&B is perfect for travellers wishing to visit Uxmal and the surrounding Puuc sites: Labna, Sayil, Kabah. Uxmal is also very close. The grounds of the Inn are lovingly cared for with amazing tropical flowers and plants. The rooms are comfortable, air-conditioned, and filled with charming folk art from all over Mexico. The...

My husband & I have stayed at the Flycatcher twice, and it just keeps getting better! I second all the glowing descriptions of the facilities and the owners, but I also want to take the praise of the owners and the town folk of Santa Elena up one more notch. I had the misfortune on this visit of taking a...

We were not lucky enough to stay here over night but my cousin and his friends did. They did help us find accommodations close by so back we went to join them for dinner. The meal was excellent. The tortillas were fresh hand made ones. This intrigued one of the people we were with and he asked is if could...
