As many of the reviews below stated, this little hotel is a jewel right on the edge of the sea, on the rocks in between 2 beaches, At night the only the sound comes from the waves hitting the rocks below the hotel. No motor bike noise or loud music. We stayed here 5 days. We had no problem at...

Had a great room with views of both the ocean and beach. Absolutely the best get away for only $30!!! I just would suggest bringing a cooler with ice and cold drinks for convenience! Liz the owner was a very nice lady...

yes it is on the ocean and the view is nice but sorry the rooms are so out of date and at night it is pitch black with the locals coming to the beach to drink and do what people do at the beach the so called hotel needs more lights in the street and not a bad idea for...

The hotel is in an area between 2 beaches having a wonderfull view in the mornings. The weather its hot and i will advise anyone to always have repelent on due to the weather conditions. Beautiful set up, the lady is kind of old but she its on her toes. Enjoy the stay!

This hotel sets you back in time on an unchallenged location in a charming village not hit with tourists. The hotel is a budget choice, have an extraordinary atmosphere, and seems to have been run by same standards since opening day. The service holds an distinct classic tone you will find in really expensive classic old European hotels. However, the...

Reaching the northern shores of the Dominican Republic you can find all sorts of towns ranging from the very local to the most touristy there are. Río San Juan turned out to be our 1st choice. The hotel is located right by the beach away from all the noise and buzz that goes on in the towns at night. The...

Ok, as all the other reviews have said: this place has not been updated and probably needs to be. But, if you can deal with clean but ratty and stained towels, a few funky pillows, etc., you may just find that the rest of the experience makes up for it. This place has a sort of magical quality, set between...

The Bahia Blanca is without doubt the best value hotel I have stayed at. For $33.00 I had a large clean room with a beautiful view of the beaches and ocean on both sides. There are large balconies that run around the outside on each floor, with comfortable chairs to relax and enjoy the Dominican weather. I highly recommend this...

We stayed just for one night, so it's hard to say about the service, but the owner, lady, is very friendly. Breakfast in restaurant is not too expensive, for two eggs and 3 cups of perfect Dominican coffee just 2$. One night costs 35$ for two persons for a room with a seaview. Wi-fi is working only on the first...

The best thing about this hotel is the location right on the water. The hotel is open on the water side, each floor has balconies with unobstructed views. There are beaches for swimming on each side of the hotel. Maintenance and room cleanliness are seriously sub-par. Wi-fi ony works in the downstairs common area. But would I stay here again,...
