Good hotel, good breakfast, close to some very nice beaches.
You can take a bus for 1.5 euro to Chania daily if you wish to do so.
We found the staff helpful and kind and always eager to answer questions.

It's about 15 mins from Chania Town by bus - you can get the number 21 or 15 bus from a stop walking distance from the hotel, they run approx every 15-20 mins! Tickets only €1.20 from the shop opposite the hotel - more expensive to buy on the bus itself. Buses seem to run fairly late, but we only got them around midday so can't speak from experience there. I think timetables are available online.
I've just returned from a stay here and whilst I didn't eat breakfast outside, I saw that some people had opted to take their breakfast out to the pool, which is right next to the breakfast room.
