Upon arrival we were led to room no.28 which was clean, spacious and faithful to the traditional architecture, with stone walls and a wooden ceiling. However, during our 2-night stay a few issues arose. At first we were slightly disappointed to find...

This was the best place I stayed during my trip to greece. The room was great, the staff were amazing, and the breakfast was really delicious. Apparently during the winter it is more busy; I don't know what it would be like then but I really recommend visiting during the summer. The town is beautiful and has plenty of places...

We had a very good stay in Saltis!! Beautiful view, very friendly owner and a marvellous breakfast. If you fly on Volos you certainly have to stay at Saltis, Makrinitsa. For the restaurants you better drive to Portaria, a few kilometers from Makrinitsa.

We've just spent four nights in Makrinitsa for the skiing at Mt Pelion, two adults and three preteens. I saw the photos of the sauna in the deluxe suite and thought that would be a lovely way to unwind after a cold, arduous day on the slopes, so I reserved it. A week or two before our stay I received...

We decided to stay here based on reviews we had read. Upon arrival we were greeted by Thanassi (the son). We were shown to our room and had all the necessary details of the village explained to us. After driving around Pileon, it was great to get back to our hotel, have a rest, and then awake to amazing night...

Nice rooms and great hospitality, close to the center of Makrinitsa, excellent breakfasts, so a perfect compromise between price & value, Good place to meet the peace and panorama of the mountain but in a quarter of hour from the City and the sea.
