This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we will be back again! The rooms are clean and spacious. Elio and Stefania are friendly, kind and more than happy to make you feel special! The breakfasts are delicious with a little bit of everything...homemade baking is s

I have been coming to this excellent hotel for many years now. The proprietors, Elio and Stefania, are incredibly hospitable and generous with both their time and ideas. The rooms are clean and fanciful; the breakfasts are always catered to the guest's liking; and the location

I cannot write enough great things about Elio and our stay! The rooms were exactly what we expected but the service far exceeded our every expectation.

Elio greeted us with a warm and enthusiastic welcome and it was very obvious he takes great pride in being an amazing host. T

Spent two nights here...excellent breakfast with home made bits and pieces. Comfortable room and nothing was too much trouble.
My only comment is that to eat in the evening is a bit of a drag back into Siena, 20 mins or so. Not a real problem as such, but if you like a couple of

Simply furnished, but very clean and comfortable. Great service with friendly, family-like personal touch. Definitely would come again for longer stay in Tuscany, because it’s really nicely located - close to major “attractions” of this wonderful region.

Do you have air conditioner? Mosquito nets? Type of views from the rooms and property? How far from Siena and Florence and Pisa? Do you have/provide pressure cooker and crock pot to cook meals?
I can't answer questions about air conditioner, nets, kitchen supplies, I'm sure that Elio can help with all of that. What I can tell you is that Siena and Florence are easily within an hour, but Elio (the host) suggested scenic routes that were fabulous so we took longer drives, and enjoyed some less touristy stops along the way. The views from the back of the property are of beautiful tuscan hillsides, but the front of the building is right up against a road, so the front of the building (where we were) didn't have a view, and there was street noise. We didn't mind at all, slept like logs after days of hiking around the hill towns. The charm of this property is the host, the breakfast and the real life feel of it.

"Best views are to the north I think. But hotel is small on a ridge so all views are terrific."
"very nice view"
"Our view was amazing looking over the pool and hillside."
"Only 4 miles to San Gimignano and a lot less expensive, if you are driving"
"I would go for rooms on the left of the central corridor for sunshine and sunset but all rooms very well presented and comfortable."
