We stayed in one of the out houses to the left of the main building. Felt expensive for a very basic room. Don't take a room next to a bathroom, you hear everything. Doors are heavy (but don't block out sound) and slam shut. Wouldn't have slept had it not been for ear plugs. Hotel has seen much better days.... More

The bedrooms are ok, not great but good size and bathrooms. The food is good and excellent breakfasts. The location is so beautiful. What makes the hotel is the excellent staff and the really nice Finnish managers husband and wife. Completely charming and the whole place is beautifully quirky.

Second time staying at this hotel on the way to Finland. Quiet location close to the highway, nice staff, comfortable beds, warmer room. Although last year dinner in the restaurant was more delicious.

This property is typical of the Swedish High Coast area, in that it has a magical ability to make all your cares vanish and total relaxation set in. This is a small family run traditional private hotel with first class cuisine. If you are used to big glass and chrome Nordic business hotels it will initially come as a shock.... More

Stayed in this hotel on the way from Stockholm to Finland in the second half of January, 2014. Very comfortable hotel close to the E4 highway. Spacious room warm (outside was -15 below zero), there is climate control. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant serving very tasty food (was open until 21:00). Beautiful place. But the... More

This beautiful old building, set in a tiny village in the "High Coast" region, has a wonderful view of a wide fjord spanned by one of the world's biggest suspension bridges. Most of the rooms have full views of this splendid sight. It is an old style hotel of a type of elegance and comfort that is becoming rarer these... More

We stayed in a room overlooking the water and could hear the water lapping against the rocks below at night through the open window! The view of the large Hoga Kusten bridge is spectacular. The restaurant was also quite good with an interesting menu. With lots of things to see and do nearby, this hotel is highly recommended!
