Detailed Reviews

Stayed for 6 nights at this hotel while visiting my brother who lives in nearby Gualchos. It is not a tourist class establishment but something much better. It is truly Spanish. The rooms are clean but basic with small balconies, noisy but efficient air-con and en-suite facilities with a shower over the bath. There are three floors of rooms serviced by a small (2 person) lift.
The facilities at the hotel include a well stocked bar/lounge, indoor restaurant and veranda for summertime drinking. It also boasts a decent size outdoor swimming pool and a large barbecue area. The bbq is fired up around 9pm. in the summer evenings.
The prices in the restaurant and the bar and the cost of accommodation are all considerably cheaper than most other parts of Spain. A double room is about E50 a night. A Table d'hote meal (3 courses incl. a drink) costs E11.
The manager and his staff are delightful. They only speak a little English but that is the fun about Real Spain. I recommend this hotel to anyone who would enjoy remembering the adventure of travel in 1970's.

Typical out-of-season Spanish hotel - very clean and tidy; popular with locals, and hgv drivers, who over-night in the ajacent lorry park. Very good restaurant, serving freshly made Spanish and Italian meals, good wines and beers. Medium range prices. Only Spanish and Italian spoken. Would visit again when in the region.

Fantastic place . Very warm comfortable rooms and the hosts were really helpful. Good food and drink . We arrived mid afternoon on our bicycles and were greeted by the land lady who made us lunch and showed us our rooms. Ate dinner in the evening too and enjoyed it all. A great budget hotel in a handy position. Would definitely return.
