This resort is amazing, do yourself a favor and book it! The room was actually a bungalow that I had all to myself. It was so roomy, cozy, and clean. The bathroom is outside, so you shower under palm trees which is a fantastic experience. Beds are also very comfortable. The staff is so helpful and friendly, and above all: trustworthy. The resort is directly on the beach, so you just walk down a couple stairs and you're at the Bali Sea. The food is buffet style, and there's something for everyone. You can contact them beforehand if you have any allergies or food restrictions, and they will accommodate that. It's very quiet, safe, and relaxing. You can book things like dolphin tours, stand up paddling, or other excursions. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely be staying there again!…
If you appreciate simple beauty and want to immerse yourself in more of the real Bali, come here. If you are looking for 5 star resort splendour, look elsewhere. Resort is a good 4.5 - 6 hours away from the main hustle of Kuta/Legian so make sure you factor this in with your planning. The bungalows are small but comfy enough. There is no air conditioning, only a fan with limited power but I had a great breeze while I was there and didn't have a problem with mosquitos. My room (#12) was pretty small and the walls to the adjoining room pretty thin so I could hear everything that was said next door. The food was very good, lots of Balinese dishes and loads of veggies which made me very happy. There is plenty to eat too, even for those with a big appetite. For breakfast there are tropical fruits, cereals, eggs, and rice/banana pancakes. Lunch and dinner was usually asian with chicken and fish each night. They provide a hot ginger water and lemongrass water that is available throughout the day and evening which I just loved and there is also limited beer/wine/soft drinks The dining room is a no wifi zone to encourage conversation and there is none available in the room so also take that into consideration I had a massage every day and found the Balinese to be there best. This place was very peaceful and serene, especially at sunrise and sunset. At night however there were dogs barking that kept me awake a few times while I was there... …
This place is so pure and has a bit of a jungle-feeling - it’s a perfect place for healing and finding inner peace. I could deeply relax on my stay - met great people... it was more of a family-feeling than of a resort-feeling - I was surrounded by a caring, lovely staff - and I enjoyed great food! I‘ll come back for sure!
Amazing views.... Amazing beautiful helpful Balinese staff.... and a special mention to Maggie - very caring... Two owners, one lovely the other not really suited to healthy experience. However our whole experience was dampened due to one of the ‘self described’ bullish owners smoking Marlboro Reds at every meal where everyone is encouraged to sit together, and to make it worse he lights one after another..... all day. We were there to encourage our daughter to look after her health better... not a chance of this happening... At times we felt like we were in the way. On site spa was ok... staff are polite but definitely not Ayurveda, all lovely Balinese style treatments. Food was ok - more variety needed and better quality or cooking facilities would possibly help the staff. Warm coconut water.... warm veg juice. Accommodation - our room was clean but tired... mostly quiet and peaceful. Grounds are lovely and lots of shade... Property location is very remote... this provides pros and cons. Captive audience. Super positive note - we did meet some lovely other visitors. …
Every piece of this property is lovingly attended to and cared for by staff and owners. There are artistic touches everywhere! The gardens thrive under their care. The ocean front is clean and water perfect for swimming with snorkeling right from the stairs. Peaceful, restful and nourishing for the soul. Amazing value. The food was true balinese and DELICIOUS. Staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I stayed here for a week, both as a traveller relaxing and as a co-leader of a Destination11 leadership and personal transformation retreat. Our group needs were and expectations were exceeded by Gisele, the owner. The meditation hall was perfect for our needs, as was group meals and space for our participants to relax between teachings. It is definitely real Bali. There are bugs. Geckos will be in your rooms to eat those bugs. There is no air con, but fans, cool breezes from the ocean, the pool, and cooling off in the waves was enough for me. I cannot say enough good things about this resort, staff and owners. We are already planning on holding another retreat at this location and if you want to feel what Bali is all about, I highly recommend this place!…
